Gingerbread Diaper Cake

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hello Everyone and Happy Wednesday!
I am happy to say I will be enjoying a day off from work to spend some time with my coffee buddies. I also plan to do some holiday baking and finish up some gift wrapping. I may even have time to sneak in my craft room!
I have a fun little project to share with you today:)
I was asked to make a diaper cake for my daughters friend who is expecting a little baby girl in January. Her family was throwing a baby shower and wanted a diaper cake made to go along with a winter/gingerbread theme. They planned to have a chocolate bar with hot cocoa, peppermints, candy canes and gingerbread cookies. The diaper cake was going to be the centerpiece for the chocolate bar. Cute idea, ha?
* *I also wanted to play in some of the current challenges so I thought I would keep that in mind when creating this:
I started with a box of Pamper Diapers and created 3 layers for the cake. There are several you tube videos for diaper cakes which is where I got the directions. You do need 2 bottles for the center and any type of baby supplies/toys for the outside. I used baby lotion, baby wash and baby shampoo and filled in with candy canes.  I decorated the cake levels with brown card stock and then some pretty ribbon from Michael's.
The house is a cut file from the Silhouette Store #70313 Miss Kate Cuttables and cut on my Cameo. I added a little doodling, sparkling ice glitter and a little Wink of Stella to the pieces. The gingerbread girls are also a cut file # 51720 from Miss Kate Cuttables and adhered in place.~I believe I made 13.  I forgot to take photo of the back but I did a big bow on each level with the same peppermint candy ribbon~turned out super cute :)
The gingerbread topper is holding a banner that was created with My Craft Spot's Ribbon Banners metal die and the sentiment is stamped with My Creative Time's Gift Card Sentiments
I finished by sprinkling some twinkling snow for a fun look :)
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Love Rubberstamps Challenge #131 Holiday Blitz~Anything Goes
2.) Silhouette Challenges Challenge#20 Anything Goes
3.) Die Cuttin Diva's Challenge #196 Christmas Carol Inspired (White Christmas)

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hello Everyone!
Hope you had a great weekend!
So, are you ready for Christmas?
I still have a few last minute things to do but things are coming along great! I should be done mid week and then I can relax and enjoy, yeah!

It's Monday and that means another GD project to share with you for Sweet Stamps weekly challenge. Hope you come join in :)
This week the challenge is: Non Traditional Christmas Colors

I have created a fun wine bottle topper: I used some colors I would not typically use together but I really like the way it turned out. I can't wait to make more!
The wine bottle topper was a file I picked up at the Silhouette Store, Design # 22157. The back panel is pattern paper from SU which was distress with the Zutter DIA and adhered in place. I also added a fun scallop edge around the opening by using a SU punch to give it more flair.
I embossed the front pocket with the snowflake folder, added a small panel across the from and and adhered this gorgeous deer on the front.  The beautiful deer is Sweet Stamps sc029 Classy Deer metal die and the sentiment is stamped with 8028 Happy Winter stamp set.
I added a snowflake using the 2019 Ice Crystal Snowflake metal die.  Another snowflake layer was added using a Martha Stewart punch and the gem is from Recollections. To finish my project, I tied on a pretty bow and filled the pocket with yummy Ghiradelli chocolates. Great to go along with a great bottle of wine, right?
You can find the sentiments and metal dies I have used today here at the

Good Morning and happy Wednesday!
Well, are you feeling the crunch or are you about ready for Christmas? It sure is coming fast, ha? I don't have to much left to do but I came down with a bad cold over the weekend so it's slowing me down this week a bit :(
I am thrilled to be a Guest Designer over at My Craft Spot today! I have a pretty Christmas card to share with you today using the Tiny Tags Christmas stamp set. This is such a fun set ~it is loaded with many sentiments and works perfectly with the Tiny Tags metal die.
I hope you are inspired!
My card base is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 and followed with a base layer. I cut a brown panel and then layered a layer which was cut with the QuicKutz Nesting Eyelet Square die. The pattern papers used for this card are from The Paper Studio-North Pole & Woodland Wonderland .
The snowflake border is gorgeous..picture does not do justice! I used the Memory Box Frostyville border die and then glittered it with Sparkling pretty and sparkly!!
The deer is the Tim Holtz Prancing Deer die. I just love this die! I wrapped some Natural Jute String, added a little bell and tied a bow.
I finished with a bow tied with cranberry crinkle ribbon and added a darling little tag. The tag is created with the Tiny Tags metal die, stamped with a sentiment from the Tiny Tags Christmas stamp set and then with pinned on with a pear pin from my stash.

Hello Everyone and Happy Monday!

I have been a busy, busy with getting things ready for Christmas as most of you are. I have just a few little things left to do and then I can focus on baking. I don't know if you know, but baking is another one of my passions, especially holiday baking! I love to make up goody trays for work, neighbors, Christmas parties, etc! How about you, do you do a lot of baking for Christmas?

Today is one of my Guest Design days over at Sweet Stamps and I have a couple fun projects to share with you for their weekly challenge.

This weeks challenge is: Sparkle
Doesn't that sound like fun? Come on and join in...would love to see your creations!

For my project, I decided to make a few gift card holders~they are sure to come in handy soon with the Holidays right around the corner, right?
I found this gift card holder at the Silhouette Store, Design #50748 and cut it on my cameo. I used SU cherry cobbler and crumb cake card stock. I embossed the holder with the snowflake folder from Darice and added fun little sparkly gems from Recollections. The snowflake border is created using the EK snowflake border punch and glittered with Sparkling Ice glitter.
The tree also has a sparkly edge which again, I used Sparkling Ice glitter. I stamped the sentiment with  8025 Christmas Greetings stamp set from Sweet Stamps.  I finished by tying on some pretty gingham ribbon, jute and a pretty embellishment from my stash.
I also made a pretty sparkly Christmas card~
I started with SU Squares framelits die for the base of my card. The next layers are cut and distressed with the zutter DIA. The pattern papers is from Recollections~All is Calm collection.
I used the IME026 Snow Covered Tree metal die for the tree's. I inked around the edges with walnut stain,  glittered the edges using the Wink of Stella pen for a sparkly effect and with foam dots, put them place. Pretty, ha?
The scallop is from a SU punch which layered a 1" circle from the Art Philosophy cartridge. I then topped it off with this pretty 2019 Ice Crystal Snowflake metal die and glittered it with Sparkling Ice for a nice sparkle.
The tag is stamped with the 8028 Happy Winter sentiment which I fussy cut around it, added some doodling and then adhered down. I finished my card by tying on a pretty satin double bow, jute string and little red bell.
You can find the sentiments and metal dies I have used today here at the
 Sweet Stamps STORE.
