Praying for you and your family

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
I hope you are all having a wonderful week and ready for the weekend~
A few weeks ago, I noticed a few of my blogger buddies were making "box cards".  I needed to make a sympathy card and thought I would try making one of these since it was new to me. It was really easy and different from your normal A2 card. I really like how fast they go together!
You should give it a try :)
I followed the video provided by My Creative Time. The papers I used are from Lasting
Impressions ~Periwinkle and Kiwi~pretty color combination :)
The pretty flourish is the Vignette Floral Branch  metal die. The butterfly metal dies are Murana  and Samirah all from Simon Says. I added a little Wink of Stella to them for a shimmery effect along with some rhinestones.  Isn't it just beautiful?
You also could easily change out the sentiment and this could be used for any occasion
A double bow was created with goblin green crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM. The sentiment is stamped with The Deepest Sympathy stamp set from My Craft Spot.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Krafty Girls Challenge #27 Anything Goes
2.) DL.ART July Linky Party
3.) Word Art Wednesday Challenge #141 Anything Goes

Smile

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
I hope you are enjoying your day!
It sure has been a beautiful weekend here in Minnesota~Can you believe it is mid July? Oh my goodness, this summer is cruising by SO fast. We always pack so much in and it just seems to fly by. But, we have to take advantage of our summers since it gets so darn cold here in the winter, lol!

One of Ayra's little friends has a birthday coming up next week. So, today I  have a cute little card to share with you using Peachy Keen Stamp set called Elephant Parade that I made for Arya to give her.  We are hoping to find circus tickets to add to the inside of the card to as part of her gift, if not.... then tickets to the zoo. Something fun for the little kiddo's to do in the summer :)
I have a cute little card to share with you using Peachy Keen Stamp set called Elephant Parade. I started with a white card base then followed with a base layer using papers from Authentique~Delightful collection. I cut a small panel and added a border using  My Craft Spot's Fancy Edges 2 metal die from the last release. I then wrapped some posy trendy twine and tied a bow.
I colored the cute little elephant with copics (which I desperately need practice with) and matted it onto a square that I distressed using the DIA. I added a couple fun skittles from my friend Carri'. The little doily label is My Craft Spot's Tiny Doilies metal die and the sentiment is from Craftin Desert Diva's Simply Said stamp set.
I filled a cello bag with yummy bag of frosted animal cookies to go along with the card. The tag is My Creative Time's Just Tags metal die/stamp set. I stamped the sweet treats which is also from Craftin Desert Diva's stamp set called Simply Said.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Pause Dream Enjoy Challenge #14 Linky Party Tags

Thank You treat favor!

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
I hope you had a great 4th of July weekend!  We had a wonderful time enjoying all the festivities. We met my daughter, son in law and Arya at the parade. We all had such a great time but we definitely wore little Arya out!
Then we went to our friends cabin which we took in some swimming, volleyball and a yummy BBQ. On Saturday, we went to my future DIL parents cabin. We played some more volleyball and enjoyed visited with her extended family! On Sunday, we took it easy and just worked on some projects at home :)
A fun weekend by all!

I did want to pop in and share a quick treat favor I made to bring to our friends cabin for the
 4th of July BBQ!
I think the adults liked them as well as the kids did, lol!
These cute little lollipop holders are made with My Creative Time's Stitched Lollipop Holder metal die. The fun paper is from Creative Imaginations. I tied on a fun polka dot bow and added a cute little tag. The tag is My Creative Time's Teeny Tags Layering metal die and the sentiment is stamped with the Teeny Tags Greeting stamp set.
These went together super fast. So, if you are looking for a quick treat idea and/or need to make a large quantity, this is perfect. You can switch up the paper to match any occasion!

Happy 4th of July!

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Good Morning Everyone!
Can you believe it's the first day of July? Yikes, where did last month go? So, do you have big 4th of July plans? We are planning on going to the parade and then to our friends cabin as long as the weather holds out. It will be fun hanging out on the pontoon and maybe even a little water skiing!
I have a fun little 4th of July treat box to share with you today! Little Miss Arya will be giving this to her Teacher at the end of the week along with the card that I posted yesterday. The box is a from the Silhouette store as is the cute 4th of July bear. The paper is from Creative Imaginations. The cute little sentiment is stamped with My Creative Time's Teeny Tag Holiday on the Square Stitched Goody Die. I fussy cut a shadow piece around the square for a little pop.
The cute little bear is cut at 2.21 on my Cameo. I added rosy cheeks, some freckles and glossy accents to the eyes. I even added eyelashes...isn't she sweet? It's hard to see but I also added Wink of Stella to the white stars for some sparkle.
I tied on a fun double bow with crinkle ribbon from my friend Karen at Little Scrap Pieces and filled the box with yummy Hershey's milk chocolate nuggets :) Yum!

Happy 4th!

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
Happy Monday~I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Can you believe it's the last day in June? Wow, where did the month go? Crazy!
Today, I have a fun card to share with you that I made for Arya's daycare Teacher. I will be sharing a treat box tomorrow that she will also be giving her along with this card before she leaves on her 4th of July break.
I was excited to find a little time to not only get in my craft room to make a gift for her Teacher but to play along in some of the challenges as well.
I used a lot of My Creative Time stamps/dies on this project:
I started with a A2 card base, using papers from Lasting Impressions. I cut the center panel in white and shadowed a piece with dark blue. I added a fun border using the Fun Stitched Edges metal die. I cut the circles using the Scallop & Stitched Circle die and adhered them in place. The stars are cut at 3/4" from the Art Philosophy cartridge.
The 4th of July is from the My Little Firecracker stamp set onto a square that was cut using the Square Stitched Goody metal die. I added foam dots for dimension and then tied on a fun twine bow. I finished with placing homemade enamel dots in the corner from my friend Carri.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Die Cuttin Diva's Challenge #171 I Vow To Thee My Country
2.) Paper Issues In the Navy
3.) Cuttin & Stampin Challenge-4th of July
4.) Bitten By The Bug 2 Independence Day (Art Philosophy cartridge)
5.) My Creative Time's Designer Challenge Patriotic Theme-Color and Sketch challenge
