LOVE at first bite!

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hello Everyone!
So, are you ready for Halloween??
I have a yummy little treat once again to share with you :)
I had watched Arya the other day and this was a little project her and I did together....well, sort of, lol! She made quite the mess but had a blast doing it and kept wanting to eat the little candies sprinkles...too funny! Arya's daycare facility has a lot of helpers that come to her preschool class each day. So, she will be taking these yummy treats to her daycare Teacher on Friday for her to pass out to all the helpers that come in that day to help:)

Okay, onto the info:
I started with a recycled taller soup can and wrapped it in some fun pattern paper from my stash. I decorated the can by wrapping some Trendy Twines black licorice around it. I found the sweet little ghost at the Silhouette Store and sized them at 2.61 x 1.71. I used the Print and Cut feature (love) on my Cameo since I was in a bit of a hurry to make these, plus I had a helper....a small helper so, easy is what I was lookin' for, lol!
The label is cut at 2" from the Elegant Edges cartridge.  I stamped the sentiment on the label and onto the ghost's with My Craft Spot's Batty For You stamp set.
I filled the can with yummy pretzels that I dipped in Wilton candy melts and sprinkle with sugar candies. I then slipped them into a pretzel bag and tied these adorable ghosts onto them with again black licorice Trendy Twine. They were super fun to make and with the Print and Cut feature, they were done in no time at all!
 I hope they like them:)
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Paper Issues Within' you a happy Halloween
2.) Pumpkin Spice Challenge #89 Candy or Sweets
3.) Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #234 Halloween

No BRAINS about it....I WANT Candy!

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Good afternoon my crafty friends!
I hope you are having a fabulous day :)
I have a fun Halloween card and treat to share today with you. I wanted to play in some of the challenges going on so I thought I would combine a few and join in :)
Hope you are inspired:
I cut the base for my card and followed with a black base layer which I distressed the edges with the Zutter DIA. The orange layer was embossed with the chevron embossing folder and adhered in place. I cut a smaller piece of pattern paper that was in my scraps, distressed the edges and put in place.
The skeleton is from PK-1422  Poseable Skeleton stamp set. After stamping, I fussy cut around it, colored in and then used Wink of Stella for a little shimmer effect and glossy accents for the eyes. I used foam adhesives for some dimension.
Isn't the skeleton a little freaky/scary lookin'?
Did it spook you, hehe!
The label and sentiment is from PK-1423 Halloween Sentiments and Labels stamp set. The spiders are from My Craft Spot's Halloween Shapes metal dies set which are hanging from Halloween Orange Licorice Trendy Twine....the googly eyes from my stash. Along the bottom, I wrapped more of  Halloween Orange Licorice Trendy Twine and tied a bow. I used My Craft Spot's Fancy Edges Halloween metal die set for the Happy Halloween.
I also made a small treat to go along with the card:
The candy tube was filled with peanut butter M & M's..yum!! I wrapped Halloween Orange Licorice twine around and tied on a fun little tag. The tag is from My Creative Time's Stitched Round Tab, Arrow Tag metal die. I stamped the sentiment with the Mixed Holiday Sentiments stamp set and again the spider is from Halloween Shapes metal die set.  I finished by tying on a Golden Harvest crinkle ribbon bow, a twine bow and fun button from Recollections.
I am entering this in the following challenges:

Thankful for You

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hello Everyone!
I hope you had a great weekend!
We took a drive down to the lake and was it ever pretty! The tree's are just gorgeous right now with the mix of so many fall colors....incredibly beautiful!
I had a lot of things going on over the weekend along with spending Sunday afternoon in my craft room, yeah! I have been wanting to join in some challenges that are going on and finally got a chance to do some crafting and even some organizing:)

Here is a fun treat idea to share with you:
I found this adorable scarecrow girl treat topper at My Scrap Chick  and cut it on my Cameo. This is such a cute file...it even has 5 other characters for you to cut out and create with.  I embossed her hair with the Divine Swirls folder and the hat with the Tiny Bubbles folder for texture. I added a bow using natural Jute String from My Craft Spot to the heart and finished with a skittle in the center.
Isn't she sweet?
I tied on some 3 Girl Jam Goblin Green crinkle ribbon and a fun tag created with My Craft Spot's Tiny Tags metal die. I stamped the sentiment with Tiny Tags 3 stamp set.
I filled a cello bag with yummy candy corn and added the topper to it. I think I will be making a couple more of these for Arya to give her daycare Teachers~They are so awesome and do such an amazing job and we are so thankful for them :)
I am entering this in the following challenges:

Pretzel Sticks...Yum!

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hello Everyone and Happy Saturday!
I hope you are having a great weekend so far :)
I have a super quick treat idea to share with you today~
I whipped these up in no time at all :)
I picked up some pretzel rods at the local grocery store. I melted vanilla candy melts by Wilton, dipped them and added fun fall sprinkles to them. After they set up, I tucked them in the pretzel rod bag and tied with orange twine from my stash on this adorable little mouse image.
Perfect for the little kiddo's :)
I used this sweet print and cut file that I found over at the Silhouette Store, design #65783 and cut in on my Cameo. The print and cut feature is awesome!!! They seriously went together super easy and so quick which is perfect because the little ones are gonna just tear into it for the yummy pretzel anyway, right?
 Aren't these adorable!
The tag is created using My Craft Spot's washi tape metal die and the sentiment is from Jar Full of Halloween stamp set. I also added a little skittle which is from my friend Carri :) I finished with a little doodling and a fun mandarin twine bow and viola....done:)
I made 30 of these in no time at all!
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) My Craft Spot Challenge #155 To cute to spook
2.) Pause Dream Enjoy Linky Party`Anything Goes
3.) Decorate to Celebrate Challenge #86 Anything Goes

Happiness is a cup of Coffee...

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
I hope you all had a great weekend!
We are back from vacation now and trying to play catch up on laundry, mail, work, etc. Boy, does reality set in quick, ha?!! It is freezing here...only in the 40's, yuk!

We had a wonderful time on vacation! We started by flying to Phoenix, AZ  spending a few days in Prescott, back to Phoenix and then the rest of the week in Sonoyta, Mexico. The weather was a little rough in Mexico as we had some of the effects from the tropical storm, Simon which dumped a lot of rain, wind and cooler temperatures. We still had a good time and will definitely go back again :)

While I was on vacation, I was able to get together with a couple of bloggers again! Yeah!  We had a great time! I wish we would have had more time.....it went so fast :(
Here is a picture of all of us:

I stamped the sentiment using My Creative Time's All You Need Is Coffee stamp/die set. This set is so fun! It has such cute sayings and fun little dies to match :) The coffee mugs are from this set to...cute, ha?
I added some fun ribbon and button all from Making Memories. I also used Trendy Twine's tickled pink to tie on a twine bow. I finish by filling the little slider box with yummy chocolates! Who doesn't like chocolate with their coffee?! Yum!
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) DoubleClick Challenge-Use Pink
