I think I did more talking, goofing around then actually crafting, hehe!
It was a good time by all:)

I have a fun treat box to share with you today. Did you know that Kimberly at My Craft Spot has SVG files? This is a darling present box I picked up over at her store and it was super easy to cut out and I can't wait to make more.
Be sure to pop over to the store and check out here amazing files!
The present box is a svg cut file and cut on my cameo~ The papers I chose are  from Recollections~Sugar Plum collection. Such a pretty pack:)
After cut out and assembled, I added a darling tag.
The tag was created with the coordinating Tiny Doilies metal die and I stamped the sentiment with the Merry & Bright stamp set. I tied the tag on with green Jute String and finished with a bow and a couple gems from my stash.

So Thankful FOR YOU!

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hello Everyone!
I hope you are all having a great day:)
Today is my little sweet pea's 3rd birthday...Wow, I can't believe she is 3 already! She is a blessing and I just love the time I get to spend with her:) We are also so excited that her little sister will be arriving in February....Grand baby #2 for us!!
*****************************************************
Today I also have a shaker card to share with you.  I made this for a friend of mine whom I'm so thankful for and just don't tell her near enough.

I started with a white card stock base. The base layer is another layer of white card stock that I distressed using my zutter DIA. I then followed with a layer of pretty pattern paper from Recollections, which I also distressed.
I used the Spellbinders Fair Isle Pendant die for the beautiful frame.  Inside the shaker, the sentiment is stamped with My Craft Spot's Thank You stamp set and sequins and mica flakes were added before I put in place.
The butterflies are created with the EK Success layering butterfly punch and with foam dimensional adhered them down. I added some sparkling ice glitter and a few gems to the center of each butterfly.  The gem flourishes are from Recollections and I finished with a double bow using ribbon from my stash, jute string and a pretty polka dot button.

Celebrate

Hello and Welcome on Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
I hope you are having a great week so far...mine is flying by!
I have a fun little treat favor to share with you that I made for a baby shower last weekend my daughter and I helped put on. The theme of the party is elephants and thought this would be perfect for the guests... I made about 40 of these cuties!
I found this cute little cut file at the Silhouette store a while ago and just waiting to use it. The elephant is cut at 1.54 x 2.29 and using pop dots, I adhered it to the tag.
The tag is My Creative Time's Just Tags metal die and the sentiment is from Teeny Tag Greeting stamp set.
I used the Jaded Blossoms Candy Wrap  die and wrapped the Hershey nuggets with papers from Bazzill and Recollections. The box is created using Jaded Blossoms Candy Caddy metal die which I placed the nuggets into and then slipped them into a pretzel bag. I finished with tying the tags on with some fun twine from my stash.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Decorate to Celebrate Challenge #87 Anything Goes
2.) DL.ART Nov Linky- Anything Goes
3.) Cut it Up Challenge #57 Tags, Tags, Tags

LOVE at first bite!

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hello Everyone!
So, are you ready for Halloween??
I have a yummy little treat once again to share with you :)
I had watched Arya the other day and this was a little project her and I did together....well, sort of, lol! She made quite the mess but had a blast doing it and kept wanting to eat the little candies sprinkles...too funny! Arya's daycare facility has a lot of helpers that come to her preschool class each day. So, she will be taking these yummy treats to her daycare Teacher on Friday for her to pass out to all the helpers that come in that day to help:)

Okay, onto the info:
I started with a recycled taller soup can and wrapped it in some fun pattern paper from my stash. I decorated the can by wrapping some Trendy Twines black licorice around it. I found the sweet little ghost at the Silhouette Store and sized them at 2.61 x 1.71. I used the Print and Cut feature (love) on my Cameo since I was in a bit of a hurry to make these, plus I had a helper....a small helper so, easy is what I was lookin' for, lol!
The label is cut at 2" from the Elegant Edges cartridge.  I stamped the sentiment on the label and onto the ghost's with My Craft Spot's Batty For You stamp set.
I filled the can with yummy pretzels that I dipped in Wilton candy melts and sprinkle with sugar candies. I then slipped them into a pretzel bag and tied these adorable ghosts onto them with again black licorice Trendy Twine. They were super fun to make and with the Print and Cut feature, they were done in no time at all!
 I hope they like them:)
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Paper Issues Within' you a happy Halloween
2.) Pumpkin Spice Challenge #89 Candy or Sweets
3.) Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #234 Halloween
4.) Die Cuttin Divas Challenge # 189 Halloween

No BRAINS about it....I WANT Candy!

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Good afternoon my crafty friends!
I hope you are having a fabulous day :)
I have a fun Halloween card and treat to share today with you. I wanted to play in some of the challenges going on so I thought I would combine a few and join in :)
Hope you are inspired:
I cut the base for my card and followed with a black base layer which I distressed the edges with the Zutter DIA. The orange layer was embossed with the chevron embossing folder and adhered in place. I cut a smaller piece of pattern paper that was in my scraps, distressed the edges and put in place.
The skeleton is from PK-1422  Poseable Skeleton stamp set. After stamping, I fussy cut around it, colored in and then used Wink of Stella for a little shimmer effect and glossy accents for the eyes. I used foam adhesives for some dimension.
Isn't the skeleton a little freaky/scary lookin'?
Did it spook you, hehe!
The label and sentiment is from PK-1423 Halloween Sentiments and Labels stamp set. The spiders are from My Craft Spot's Halloween Shapes metal dies set which are hanging from Halloween Orange Licorice Trendy Twine....the googly eyes from my stash. Along the bottom, I wrapped more of  Halloween Orange Licorice Trendy Twine and tied a bow. I used My Craft Spot's Fancy Edges Halloween metal die set for the Happy Halloween.
I also made a small treat to go along with the card:
The candy tube was filled with peanut butter M & M's..yum!! I wrapped Halloween Orange Licorice twine around and tied on a fun little tag. The tag is from My Creative Time's Stitched Round Tab, Arrow Tag metal die. I stamped the sentiment with the Mixed Holiday Sentiments stamp set and again the spider is from Halloween Shapes metal die set.  I finished by tying on a Golden Harvest crinkle ribbon bow, a twine bow and fun button from Recollections.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
