Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hello Everyone!
Hope your having a great week and ready for the weekend?! I can't believe the weekend is here already! This week has really flown by for me~ Anyone else feeling that way? Can you believe it is almost August already? Yikes, where did July go?

I wanted to squeeze in another card using the new Disney Frozen cartridge! I am thinking I will be doing a lot of projects in the future with this cartridge~ There really are some fabulous cuts on it and hoping to get time to put a few layouts together as well.

Remember.......we have a "new" challenge starting today over at PDE Linky Party and the theme this week is "Anything Goes"
So, be sure to come and link up~We would love to see your creations!
My card base and base layer are created using Spellbinders Matting Basic B metals dies. The pattern paper is from Core'dinations~Purple flower. I then followed with the Die Versions~Bricks Background (my newest favorite)
Elsa is cut at 5" from the Disney Frozen cartridge along with the layers. Isn't she pretty? I tied on a pretty bow with 3 Girl Jam~Daffodil crinkle ribbon and some yummy skittles from DoubleClick. Be sure to pop over to Carri's blog~she has some new skittles available called "Believe in the Magic".
The sentiment is stamped with Jaded Blossom's Elegant Holiday Greetings stamp set.

May all your Wishes come true

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hello Everyone and Happy Sunday!
I hope your having a great weekend!
It sure is warm here......Ofta, hitting the high 80's~if it wasn't for the humidity you actually would enjoy being outside bit more. We did spend yesterday at the lake which was so much fun! The little ones just loved it!
Today I am sharing a fun card and hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it :) I just received the "new" Disney Frozen cartridge in the mail and couldn't wait to tear into it. I know I will use it a lot since Arya is a BIG fan of Frozen. There are some cute, cute images and hoping to create some fun Christmas projects for her.

Anyway, along with getting the cartridge, I noticed a fun Disney theme challenge my friend Carri is having along with a lot of Christmas in July challenges and thought it would be fun to play along!  I am certainly not ready for it or actually want to think of it yet but it was kind of fun creating a winter project in the middle of summer. A nice little break from what I have been creating:)

I chose to use Craftin Desert Diva's~ Enchanted Wishes for the sentiment since this stamp set is "perfect" to pair up with this cartridge! Check out the set HERE
I started with a white card base followed with a base layer using patter paper from Paper Studio. The next layer is so fun~It is the Die Versions Whispers Bricks Background die. I am loving this die:)
The snow is then created using My Creative Time's~Fun Stitched Edges die and embossed with the Divine Swirls folder.
Olaf is cut using the Disney Frozen cartridge at 4 1/4 and the snowflake at 2 1/2. After piecing them together, I used foam adhesives for a little dimension. I just love Olaf~he is so happy!
I finished with a sentiment from Craftin Desert Diva's~Enchanted Wishes and stamped onto a square using My Creative Time's~Square Stitched Goody Die.I tied on a pretty bow using ribbon from SU and yummy skittles from Double Click.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Double Click Challenge~Disney theme or use a mouse
2.) DL.ART Challenge~July Linky Anything Goes
3.) Craftin Desert Diva's Linky Party~Christmas in July

PDE Linky Party Challenge~Sweet Treats

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hello Everyone and Happy Friday!
Yep, it's Friday.... which means a new PDE Linky Challenge...yippee!!! You can link up your "sweet treats" projects HERE
Here is a little inspiration for this weeks challenge:
"Sweet Treats"
Today I have a yummy S'more treat to share! It is perfect for this time of the year to take with camping for the little kiddo's at the fire. I am giving these to Arya's little neighbor boys who LOVE to make s'mores around the campfire or they could even pop them in the microwave on a rainy day :)
I have everything they need in this little package to make a delicious s'more, yum!
I made a fun little belly wrap and cute tag to dress up the package a bit. I added a fun tag using Jaded Blossoms Luggage Tags Die. I stamped the background with Paint Splatters 2 stamp set. The yummy s'more is from the Got S'mores stamp set and I colored it with copics.
The sentiment is also stamped with Got S'mores stamp set onto a panel using the Card Mat Dies set.
I finished it with a fun bow using ribbon from SU and twine string from My Craft Spot who know longer is in business but I still love using their products.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to go check out what the DT has created! I hope you will join us and link up your project at the PDE Linky Party!
We'd love to see your creations!

I hope you pop over to visit me over there and come back and join in the fun!
We'd love to see what you create!
The challenge is: Summer/Winter
I chose summer for my project today~
It is perfect for a pool/beach party. The little ones would love it:)
The beach bag (#43859) is a file I picked up at the Silhouette Store. Isn't it cute? It holds some yummy treats to take to the beach. I decorated the outside using files from the Silhouette store for the crab in a sand pail (#63580)and the umbrella (#39512). The adorable happy sun is Jaded Blossoms Spring Dies 2 metal die and the face is PK113 Cherub Faces stamp set.
I made a fun topper for the water bottle using Jaded Blossoms Wine Tag Die. Before adhering the banner layer, I used Jaded Blossoms Scallop Slider and Topper Die to create a holder for a Hawaiian Punch packet on the back to give the water a yummy flavor. Refreshing for this time of year:)
I then adhered the banner layer on and adhered this cutie in place. The little girl is SVG Cutting Files~Fun in the Sun file. The sentiment is stamped with My Creative Time's~Have fun in the sun stamp set onto the My Creative Time's~Stitched Curly Label Die. I added some fun twine from my stash to finish it up :)

Baby Onesie Stickers

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hello Everyone!
I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July! We had a great weekend but it went way to fast, boo!
Well, some of you may know we are waiting patiently for our next Grand baby (#3) to be born any day now...yay! As you can tell, it is going to be a little girl!! These three little girls are going to have a ball growing up together!
I made some cute little monthly onesie stickers for my daughter in law, Amber. I thought it would be kind of fun for them when they want  to take those monthly photo :) I decided to keep the theme from their baby shower going when I made these~you can see those decorations HERE.
I grabbed the darling animals at the Silhouette Store for this project. After bringing in the animals, and numbers, I chose my wording using a cute font and then welded it together. I flood filled the outer circle edge in a fun pattern in the program.
I printed them onto Silhouette Sticker paper and then ran it through my Cameo to cut just the outer edge.  Pretty quick and simple and ready to go~nothing to fancy but fun! All she has to do is peel the backing off, stick it on the onesie and take the picture :)
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Decorate to Celebrate Challenge #103~Anything Goes
2.) Little Scrap Pieces Show it Off Saturday
3.)  Scrappin4fun Challenge #45 Anything Goes

Happy Independence Day

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hello my crafty friends~
Happy Friday~ So, do you have a lot planned for the 4th? We are staying pretty close to home awaiting the birth of our newest Grand baby which is due next week. We are also planning on going to the local parade, festivities and fireworks. How about you?

Today I am sharing another fun 4th of July treat favors for my daughter to take to work for her co-workers. I just grabbed some pretzels rods, dipped them in Wilton's candy melts and sprinkle candies on top. After they set up, I put them in a pretzel rod bag and created a fun tag to attach
to them :)
They are super easy to make and everyone loves them! Yum!
I kept the tags rather simple as they are going to just throw it away anyway~ I started with making a tag using the Art Philosophy cartridge. I cut it at 3 1/2 and stamped the fireworks background with Pretty Cute Stamps~Fireworks stamp set in red and blue.
I then stamped the sentiment which is also from this stamp set in black for a little dimension. I finished with a little gem in the center of one of the fireworks and tied them on with Berry Trendy Twine and tied a bow~Viola..done!
Have a WONDERFUL and SAFE weekend!!!!
