Trendy Twine~Happy Birthday Lesley!

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hi Everyone,
Today the Trendy Twine DT along with a few past Guest Designers are surprising Lesley, the owner of Annie's Paper Boutique/Trendy Twine with a special birthday post to celebrate her birthday! Be sure to head over to the Trendy Twine Blog to see all the wonderful cards and creations and to wish her a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

This is the card I sent to her:
I started with My Creative Time's Stitched Squares Inside and Out Dies for the base and base layer.  The base layer pattern paper is from My Minds Eye. I then layered a border using the More Stitched Edges Die and tied some pretty ribbon around it and tied a bow. The cute birthday hat is from the Party Hat Dies and finished it off with a darling Trendy Twine Strawberry Cupcake twine pom pom...isn't it fun?!
I also made a matching little treat pouch with My Creative Time's Stitched Treat Sleeve Die. I used the smaller party hat from the Party Hat Dies to match the card~the sentiments are die cut with the Let's Party Word Dies.
The little pouch is has a special little treat for the birthday girl~
Happy Birthday Lesley....I hope you have a fantastic day!!!

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hi Everyone!
I hope you had a fun Halloween yesterday~
Today, I have one more Halloween project to share. I kept in mind a few challenges that are going on so I could play along while creating these. I used the fun card sketch for the challenge at Jaded Blossom which helped make these cards come together perfectly~I really like how they turned out..hope you do to?!
Here is the sketch I used from Jaded Blossoms October challenge:

I started with my card base and then a 4 x 5 1/4 panel for the base layer using fun pattern papers from Paper Studio~trick or treat collection.
The other layer are from the Card Layer Dies 1 and the Border Dies. The spider web and the cute little ghost are the Halloween Dies.
I used the Bow Dies for the tiny bows and the 'boo" is the alphabet dies. The sweet little faces are stamped with the Fall Faces stamp set and colored with copics. I finished my cards with Nuvo English Mustard crystal drops.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Jaded Blossom~October Sketch Challenge
2.) Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #393 Anything Goes

Trick or Treat

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hi Everyone,
I hope you are having a great day~
I am slowly trying to get back in my craft room after time needed with family after the loss of my Father last month. It has been a difficult time but I know time still marches on....so,  I am working at getting back to doing some of the things I enjoyed not to mention it helps to keep myself busy.

Today, I have a quick little Halloween tag to share with you~ these will tie on the treat bags that my grandchildren (Arya & Lacy) will take to school for their Halloween party's next week. Since the kids will quickly rip into them and just throw the tags away I kept it very simple~
We made a total of 38 of these cuties~
The tags are created with Jaded Blossoms OctagonDies. The cute ghosts are from the Halloween Dies. I stamped the sweet faces with PK-490 Everyday Character Face stamp set and added a little chalk for the cheeks.
The sentiment is stamped with the Halloween Tags stamp set onto a Mini Tag Dies 2. I filled a cello bag I picked up at Michael's with candy and tied the tag on with black tulle.
Super quick and easy!
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) DL.ART October Linky Challenge~Anything Goes
2.) Cardz TV Challenge #69 Anything Goes
3.) Die Cuttin Diva's Challenge #392 Halloween
4.) Jo's Scrap Shack Challenge #256 Anything Goes
