My DT project:
My card base and base layer are created with the Spellbinder A2 Matting Basic A Dies. The pretty pattern papers are Lemon Craft Christmas Carol collection. The next panel is die cut and then embossed with the Darice snowflake folder.
The tree is the Cheapo Christmas Tree Die and die cut 2 times for a little dimension. I layered the tree onto a Tutti Designs Stitched Nesting Oval
The Frantic Stamper Assorted Foliage Die is used for the foliage underneath the pretty poinsettia. The  poinsettia is the Impression Obsession Poinsettia Small Die and I lightly went over it with the Nuvo glitter gloss pen for sparkle. The Merry Christmas is Poppystamps Folk Merry Christmas Die.

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hi Everyone!
I hope you had a fun Halloween yesterday~
Today, I have one more Halloween project to share. I kept in mind a few challenges that are going on so I could play along while creating these. I used the fun card sketch for the challenge at Jaded Blossom which helped make these cards come together perfectly~I really like how they turned out..hope you do to?!
Here is the sketch I used from Jaded Blossoms October challenge:

I started with my card base and then a 4 x 5 1/4 panel for the base layer using fun pattern papers from Paper Studio~trick or treat collection.
The other layer are from the Card Layer Dies 1 and the Border Dies. The spider web and the cute little ghost are the Halloween Dies.
I used the Bow Dies for the tiny bows and the 'boo" is the alphabet dies. The sweet little faces are stamped with the Fall Faces stamp set and colored with copics. I finished my cards with Nuvo English Mustard crystal drops.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Jaded Blossom~October Sketch Challenge
2.) Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #393 Anything Goes
3.) PDE October Card Challenge

Trick or Treat

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hi Everyone,
I hope you are having a great day~
I am slowly trying to get back in my craft room after time needed with family after the loss of my Father last month. It has been a difficult time but I know time still marches,  I am working at getting back to doing some of the things I enjoyed not to mention it helps to keep myself busy.

Today, I have a quick little Halloween tag to share with you~ these will tie on the treat bags that my grandchildren (Arya & Lacy) will take to school for their Halloween party's next week. Since the kids will quickly rip into them and just throw the tags away I kept it very simple~
We made a total of 38 of these cuties~
The tags are created with Jaded Blossoms OctagonDies. The cute ghosts are from the Halloween Dies. I stamped the sweet faces with PK-490 Everyday Character Face stamp set and added a little chalk for the cheeks.
The sentiment is stamped with the Halloween Tags stamp set onto a Mini Tag Dies 2. I filled a cello bag I picked up at Michael's with candy and tied the tag on with black tulle.
Super quick and easy!
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) DL.ART October Linky Challenge~Anything Goes
2.) Cardz TV Challenge #69 Anything Goes
3.) Die Cuttin Diva's Challenge #392 Halloween
4.) Jo's Scrap Shack Challenge #256 Anything Goes

My DT project:
I have a sweet friend who has a special birthday coming up in December so this is for her. She loves margaritas and when I saw this particular die in the Scrapy Land store, I knew I had to have it. You could definitely change it up and make something similar for celebrating Christmas or even celebrating the New Year...a lot of possibilities!

I started with the Spellbinders 5 x 7 Matting Basic B dies  and then followed with Spellbinders 5 x 7 Elegant Labels 4 die. The glitter papers are from Paper Studio and pattern paper from my scrap stash.
The yummy cocktail is Sue Wilson Designs Cosmopolitan Cocktail Die and the "celebrate" is Tutti Designs Celebrate Word Die. I finished with adding a pretty double bow and some gems to the corner.
I also made these fun little treat boxes and filled them with yummy chocolate kisses~
The boxes are Elizabeth Craft Designs Lanter Box Die. I decorated the top with Frantic Stamper Asst Foliage Die and then tied on a pretty bow with ribbon from Recollections.
