s***Be sure to check out my giveaway that I have going on HERE ***There is still time to enter!

Hello Everyone,
I was happy to play along in this challenge over at More than favors CCCC #15~ A Child'sYear. I purchased this cartridge a while back and honestly I have only used it one other time. It is such cute cartridge but there are SO many cartridges out there, you kind of forget about these older ones. That is why I LOVE these challenges. It really allows you to use some of the cartridges that would otherwise just be sitting. So, come on... dig it out, and come play along!!

I cut this shaped card using my gypsy and the Birthday Bash cartridge. I welded and cut the scallop at 5.43 x 9.45. The base layer cut at 4.70 x 4.08 with pattern paper by Doodlebug designs. The image is cut from A Child's Year cartridge at 3 3/4 plus the shadow feature. The cute sentiment~May your day bloom with happiness is from My Craft Spot~Sweet sentiment Set #2 and a SU set called Four Frames for the frame. The bakers twine is from Papertreyink, ribbon and button from Michael's.

I  have been asked to be a Guest Designer for My Creative Time~Design Team Thursday!  I was so surprised but very honored to have been asked to be a Guest Designer for today's project. Woo Hoo!! Thank you so much Emma!!!!! I had a lot of fun!!!

I was asked to create a 8 x 8 or 12 x 12 layout, using any of My Creative Time stamp sets and any theme.
I chose to do a 12x12  birthday layout for my project. I used the Rock Princess cartridge for the cute girl and cut her at 6" plus the layers. I used my cuttlebug to emboss her hair using~ divine swirls folder and her skirt using~ swiss dots folder. I used the Birthday Bash cartridge and cut the gifts at 5 1/2 plus the layers, the balloons at 3" plus layers. I decided to use my gypsy for welding Celebrate 50. I used the Elegant Cake cartridge. The celebrate was cut at 5.98 x 2.86, shadow feature at 6.23 x 3.66 and the 50 at 2.36 x 2.25. The cute little frames were cut from a die cut~sizzix bookplates. The sentiments used in the project are from My Creative Time stamp set~"Wow, so many candles". The flower border punch from fiskars, ribbon, brads from SU and bling from Michael's. The bakers twine is from Papertreyink.

M.A.G Challenge by the page~Challenge #20

Hello Everyone,
Wow, what a busy weekend in the blogging world, a lot of blog hops going on.... FUN, FUN!!  I am so impressed with the wonderful blogs out there and the talent is just amazing!! Wow!

My card that I am sharing is for a challenge at http://magchallengebythepage.blogspot.com/ It is a challenge using the Cars cartridge~images on pg 33 only. I have owned this cartridge for a while now but literally this is the first time I have used it. I am so glad I did because once I got going on it, I really had a lot of fun making this card. I was really struggling at first trying to figure out what to do~not a lot of options.  So, I decided to make a shaped card using my gypsy. I cut the shaped card at size 5.72 x 3.46 (x2) and welded plus all the layers. I cut the wording at 1". I embossed some of the layers using 2 different cuttlebug folders~dots&spots and tiny bubbles which gave it a cool effect. I am happy with the outcome...hope you like it!

Sending Springtime Smiles!!!

Hello Everyone,
Happy Saturday~Today's post is a card that I made without my cricut. I am entering it in a few cricut-less challenges.....I wasn't sure about this challenge as I am always using my cricut or gypsy for my projects....a bit out of my comfort zone BUT I tucked it away and I hope you like what I have come up with!!

My card base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, base layer at 4 x 5 1/4. I used a SU stamp set called Easter Blossoms. I stamped the image on a 2 x 2 1/2, layered it at 2 1/8 x 3, layered it at 2 1/4 x 3 1/8. The next layer is 4 x 4 1/4 which I then used a Martha Stewart punch for the border. I  layered it on the cute polka dot paper which was cut at 3 3/4. The sentiment~Sending Springtime Smiles was also in the set and I used a SU punch oval and scallop oval  to layer around that. The printed paper I used is from Creative Imagination, polka dot paper was from Lasting Impressions and solid card stock from Bazzill. The bling and ribbon was from Craft's Direct.
Challenges that I am entering in:
My CreativeTime~Throwback Thursday~sketch  and cricut-less
Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #53~looks like spring
