Hope your all enjoying the week! I have been out of town the past couple days visiting my family. So, it's time to play some catch up and get some projects done. I will be busy in my craft room the next couple days and hopefully be back to share some fun projects. Be sure to stop back on Saturday for the Back to School Blog Hop. I want to share a card I made for September Ninths~Tacky Tuesday Challenge #9~Berry/Fruit cut and the word "berry" in the sentiment.
The shaped card is from the Elegant Edges cartridge at 5.00 and the base layer at 4.88 x 5.11. I cut the strawberry vine from the Rock Princess cartridge at 2.81 x 3.14 and the layers. I embossed the flowers with the swiss dots folder. The cute sentiment is from Joy's Life~Yummy Puns Set and the die is from My Creative Time. I am really liking the Elegant Edges cartridge. It has a great selection of images to make shaped cards and a great frame feature. It's at the top of my favorites! I thought it would be fun to weave the satin ribbon around the outer part of the base layer for a different look. Hmmm, I think it's okay, what do you think??

This color combo is always stunning, and when it's a card this sweet they're even more gorgeous. :o) I love the patterns and embossing so much.. and I adore the ribbon weaving, particularly with this type of card. Being the fruit color, it resembles more berries climbing up a vine... and had you gone the green route, it would look like leaves! Win-win! :o) Beautiful card, my friend!
