Happy Trails and Winner of my 6 month Blogaversary

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to share a card that I made for a challenge over at Paper Cutz Challenge #105~Down on the Farm. I used the Old West cartridge that I just bought at a great deal at Michael's. I have looked at this cartridge on and off but just didn't think I would use it.  Then one day I saw it at a price I couldn't pass up. So, here is my very first project using this cartridge.

I cut the cowboys at 3 3/4 and 4 1/2 plus the layers, the fence at 3" and Happy Trails at 1 1/2. I love how the cowboys turned out. I did a little inking to give it some dimension. I added some hemp for the rope and attached it to the fence. The grass is cut with my Martha Stewart fringe scissors. Hope you like it:)

  1. OH MY GOSH!!!! I can't believe I won!! THANK YOU so much, Sherrie! I have wanted this cart forever! My friend Marcia will be so happy since I borrowed her cart about two weeks ago and keep "forgetting" to return it ;) Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'll email you my address now! And in all my excitement, I forgot to say how much I LOVE this card! Wow, you did such a great job with Old West. I love the cuts on it but I struggle putting them together into something I like. This is just fabulous! I love the colors and the twine lasso is genius! With all you have going on, how did you find time to make such an adorable card??!! :)
