Today...is your day!

Hello Everyone,

Happy Thursday!!  I was able to sneak in my craft room for a bit  last night to make a card for a couple challenges that are going on and would love to share it with you!

For this card I used Create a Critter for the skunk and cut it at 2.64 x 3.00 with my gypsy so I could hide the face. The face is from the PK291 Sampler pkg of faces.  Isn't this skunk just so cute?

I did a little embossing with the spots folder, added some buttons and pretty crinkle ribbon from My Craft Spot.  I used my SU oval and scallop oval and the cute sentiment~Today.....is your day~ is from
Getting Cricky with K. Andrew ~Positive Thoughts Set. Hope you like it:)

I am entering this in the following challenges:

1.) Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge #59 with a Twist~use buttons
2.) Peachy Keen~Lets Face it Friday Challenge ~Our Furry Friends
3.) Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Me Monday #74~Birthday Bash
4.) Scrapbookaholic by Abby Challenge #12 ~Anything Goes

I also want to thank DIANA over at DL.ART for passing the Butterfly Award to me. I am very happy and honored to receive it!!  Thanks so much for thinking of me. Please stop on over and pay Diana a visit. You won't be sorry, she is very creative and inspiring!! I was just given this award a couple days back~please go HERE to see the details of this award. Thanks Diana!

Thanks for stopping by,
Sherrie K

  16. Oh Sherrie, this is SO adorable! I completely love how you embossed the interior cuts of the skunk! That's pure embossing brilliance, my friend! It enhances the lovely doodling you did on her, too. I'm crazy about the buttons atop the Seeing Spots.. and the ribbon.. and the colors. Her face is positively precious! She knows it's her day, doesn't she? :o) Gosh, you and Lisa always bring out the novel in me. ;) I'm glad you had some time to craft!

    Hugs and blessings! :o)
