Hello Everyone,
I would love to share this card that I made using the Cindy Lou cartridge. I have not used this cartridge in a long time but I remembered lovin' this owl:) I know after seeing a few challenges... I needed to go grab this cute owl and do something with this cut. So, here it is...hope you like it!
This is a 6 x6 card base, base layer 5 7/8. The cute owl is cut at 3 3/4 plus the layers. I cut the scallop/flower shape from the Accent Essential cartridge at 4 3/4 (yellow) and 4 1/2 (pattern). The stars are cut from the Rock Princess cartridge at 3 1/4 and 3 1/2. The curly label die cut around the sentiment is from My Creative Time and the sentiment is from My Pink Stamper ~Tweetie Hoo puns. I added glossy accents on the eyes which is so cool but hard to see on photo~ but love the look of it!
Here are a few challenges I will be entering this in:
1.) Paper Cutz ~Challenge #106 Wish upon a star
2.) Getting Cricky Simple Sunday ~Challenge~"Winged Things"
3) Fantabulous Cricut ~Challenge #75~A Splash or colour
Also a "BIG" thank you for the Butterfly Award from Felicia at Scrapper in the Making and Esther from For the Joy of Creating. I am so honored you thought to pass this to me. I just received this award a few days back and passed it on~ Go HERE for those details. Please be sure to pay a visit to Felicia and Esther's blog. You will enjoy their talent and creativity! Thanks again Felicia and Esther!
Thanks for visiting,
Sherrie K

Oh my gosh, this is so adorable, Sherrie! I LOVE that owl! I forget about this cart, too and there are some cute cuts on there. How you have him sitting in the middle of the scallop looks like he is sitting in a hole in a tree looking out at the world! The papers and ribbon are so beautiful! LOVE it! And I'm so glad you linked up with the Simply Sunday challenge!! Another fabulous card my fabulous friend!! :)

How adorable is this?! The color scheme is gorgeous, particularly with autumn knocking on the door. The papers are stunning, too. But the star is that sweet owl.. she's one of my favorites and you just made him the cutest I've ever seen. The embossing, sparkles, and tonal-print top paper are just fantastic, and your inking is perfect. My gosh. You always make me gush, my friend! I LOVE this. :o)
