You made my heart smile!

Hello Everyone,

Happy Sunday!! I hope your all enjoying your weekend! It's such a gorgeous day here in northern Minnesota. The air was crisp this morning which is another sign of fall being right around the corner. I have had a busy day already but I did manage to sneak away for just a bit and make this card for a few challenges that I wanted to participate in. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy it:)



I cut this cute giraffe from the Create A Critter cartridge at 5.24 using my gypsy and all the layers. The grass I cut at 1" and I also cut a layer with my fringe scissors just to try and give it some depth. I used My Creative Time ~Scallop and Stitched circle along with My Creative Time ~Many Greetings stamp set for my sentiment.     I am so jealous of the weather up there! We are are burning up here in Phoenix! I love the grass detail you added to your card! The papers you choose are just perfect!

    This is so adorable, Sherrie!! I love the red-spotted giraffe! How cute is he?! And the animal print background paper is so cool! I love, love, love this cute card!! The weather was very nice here today, too. The nights are definitely getting cooler. I love fall but not so much what comes next! I hope you have a wonderful week :)

    This is SO sweet! You'll certainly make the recipient smile just as much as they make you smile. :o) The colors are fabulous... the lighter shades just explode off of the beautiful brown background. (and I LOVE that ribbon! I have a thing for brown ribbon.) The embossing on the giraffe is lovely, as are his sparkly spots and doodles. I love how he's nestled in between grass borders. Beautiful work as always, my friend! :o)

    Oh, Sherrie -- This is just TOO cute!! You have to know that putting a giraffe on anything means I'm gonna love, love, LOVE it -- But the extra details you added -- a little bling, a little white pen, the embossing, the brads, the ribbon... Oh my goodness, I'm on overload with LOVING it!! :)
