Hello Everyone,
Here is a card that I made for Birthday Sundaes Challenge~Cakes and Cupcakes Birthday Cards. I made this yummy strawberry/chocolate cupcake shaped card using the Home Decor cartridge. I cut it at 4.34 x 5.94 plus the layers. The chocolate layer I embossed with the Divine swirls folder....lookin good, ha?
I added glossy effects to the cherry along with a pretty pink gingham bow. I cut the little flowers from a border punch and pulled the flowers apart, added a bling in the center then added it to the cupcake. Hmmm, kind of like candy sprinkles....The sentiment~"enjoy" is from Pink By Designs and "Happy Birthday" is from Hero Arts. Wow, after making this card I totally am wanting a BIG chocolate cupcake, LOL! How about you?
There is still a little time if you want to play in the challenge. Stop over to Birthday Sundaes for all the details.
Thanks for stopping by,
Sherrie K

You always go the extra mile to make a card spectacular, Sherrie! This is so fabulous! The glossy effects on the cherry and the flowers from a border punch - so creative and simply beautiful! I just love this...and thanks so much - I'm craving a big chocolate cupcake now, too :)
ReplyDeleteAnd my fellow Catholic School survivor, I would love to hear stories about Sister Therese sometime!! I bet she is like so many of the ones I had in my eight long years. My second grade teacher, Sister Alma, used to make us kneel in front of a statue of Jesus and pray for the world to end! That wasn't traumatic at all for a little kid :)
