I also wanted to join a challenge for my project over at My Sheri Crafts Challenge #69~Sew simple (add stitching of some kind to project) and Trade Fish Designs, Go Fish Challenge Blog Challenge#1~Anything Goes. Be sure to check out these challenges for the details and come and join in! Here is my card:)
I cut the little boy and girl at 3.90 x 2.79 using my gypsy to hide feature for the face so I could use my adorable Peachy Keen~Everyday Character Asst Face set. Super cute, ha? The canoe and paddles are cut at 3.24. All the pattern paper is from We R Memory Keepers~Autumn Splendor.
Thanks for visiting and have a great week,

It's a Beautiful Day!
Hello Everyone,
Hard to believe it's fall like weather already. I want my summer back, LOL! It's time for another challenge over at Whimsical Wednesday. I didn't want to miss the fun and I was hoping it would help get me in the mood for fall. The challenge at Whimsical Wednesday is Fall Colors "and" to create a handmade embellishment on your project. I was a bit stumped on this handmade embellishment challenge and just not coming up with anything..total brain freeze. So, hope this works!
I started out with some seam binding ribbon and added some adhesive to it. I then folded and gathered the ribbon to create a pretty ribbon border. I took the ribbon and went around a pencil to form a little flower like embellishment to match.
For my card I cut the tree from the Create A Critter cartridge at 3" plus the layers. I added some orange peel stickles to the card to pop it out a bit along with a little embossing on the trunk of the tree. The banner is from Spellbinders-Ribbon Banners and the sentiment is from BugBites~All Year Round set. Hope you like it:)
Thanks for visiting and have a Great weekend!

Link Up Love Party With K Andrew
Hello Everyone,
It's the third Tuesday of the month and that means it's Link Up Love Party time over at Getting Cricky. The Link Up the Love Party with K Andrew is a great way to meet new bloggers and find inspiration from amazing projects!
Here's out it works:
A creepy card for ya! I made this card from the Mini Monsters cartridge and cut this creature at 3" plus the layers. The "BEWARE" is cut at 2". I added some fun green tulle and a black ribbon to add some cuteness to this card. so, what do you think? I actually love this cartridge. If you don't have it, I would recommend that you put this at the top of your list. Such FUN cuts!
Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to head over to Getting Cricky and Link Up The Love!! Check out all of her amazing stamps while you are there!!
It's the third Tuesday of the month and that means it's Link Up Love Party time over at Getting Cricky. The Link Up the Love Party with K Andrew is a great way to meet new bloggers and find inspiration from amazing projects!
Here's out it works:
- Link Up Party runs from Tuesday 9/20 to Tuesday 9/27. Winners announced 10/3
- Grab the Getting Cricky blinky and post on your blog's sidebar
- Be a follower of Getting Cricky
- Create a new blog post that is titled Link Up Love Party with K Andrew. In your post, you must mention that the link up love party is a way to get to know each other and find new blog inspiration, mention my blog, with a link back to Getting Cricky
- Post your favorite project that you've done in your blog for HALLOWEEN
- Copy and paste the link up code into your blog post so the Inlinkz will show up on your blog
- Spread the word so everyone can join in!
- You must visit, follow, and comment on the 5 people before you AND the 5 people after you in the Inlinkz. It would be fantastic if you would visit as many as you can--maybe everyone? If you are one of the first 5 then you will need to blog the ones before you and a few more after--as long as it's a minimum of 10 near you in the link up
- If you do not do the above your link will be deleted, because it's just not fair to those who work so hard linking up and showing love to the ones on the list. I have two moderators who will be checking this out to keep it awesome and fun!

Happy Fall Y'all!
Hello Everyone,
It is defiantly feeling like fall around here. The leaves are changing, the air is crisp and I am in the mood for fall decorating, baking and canning. I was able to enjoy a little baking the other day and thought I would put a little gift package together for my neighbor of some yummy treats.
I made this bread gift box holder for this yummy homemade pumpkin bread. I wrapped a little tulle around it, added a gem flower and a tag. I also added a couple sweet pumpkins cut from Create A Critter at 1 3/4 and 2. The sentiment is from My Craft Spot ~Sweet Sentiments Set #2.
I also made some yummy jam with my daughter who stopped over with a 5 gallon pail of fresh blueberries. Oh my goodness, these were so good! I ended up making about 8 jars of blueberry/rhubarb jam so I am adding this to my gift package as well. I wrapped the jar with the same pattern paper, added some tulle, button and tag. The sentiment is again from My Craft Spot and I used SU punches for the tag and for on top of the jar.
I wish I could give ya' all some.....sure your mouth is watering by now, ha? Sorry for the teasing...LOL! Have a great fall day and thanks for stopping!!
I am also entering this in the following challenges:
1.) My Craft Spot ~Challenge #25~Happy Harvest
2.) Frosted Designs ~Fabulous Friday Challenge~Use punches on project
3. ) Decorate to Celebrate ~Challenge #8~Anything Goes

Halloween Party Favor Idea
Hello Everyone,
I hope your week is starting off great. It's hard to believe we are half way into September already. Where does the time go?
I can't believe how cool the mornings have been. The air is so crisp, leaves are just a changing. Such a pretty time of year here:) I am hoping to get out this weekend and take some pictures!
Well, I wanted to share a quick, inexpensive treat/party favor with you. It has many possibilities but I made it for Halloween and thinking of making them for all my co-workers or for some of the little goblins that will be knocking on my door real soon.
These little tube containers were about .88 each. I filled them with candy corn (which is a weakness for me this time of year) and topped it off with a cute witch that I cut from the Mini Monster cartridge at 3 3/4 and her layers. I used My Creative Time ~scallop and stitched circle die and the sentiment is from BugBites ~All Year Round Stamp Set. I tied on some decorative fibers and voila...done. Quick, easy and inexpensive! Just be sure to buy an extra bag of candy because if your like me...you defiantly will eat candy corn while your making these, lol! Have fun making them!
Entering this over at Decorate to Celebrate ~Anything goes challenge

I used My Creative Time ~scallop and stitched circle die and the sentiment is from BugBites ~All Year Round Stamp Set. I tied on some decorative fibers and voila...done. Quick, easy and inexpensive! Just be sure to buy an extra bag of candy because if your like me...you defiantly will eat candy corn while your making these, lol! Have fun making them!

For my project I have decided to make a School themed project. I have made a treat bag for a Teacher and a treat for a special classmate or best buddy:)
I cut a 4 x 12 piece of pattern paper. I scored it at 4 1/2, 5 1/2 and 10 1/2. I then cut 4 x 2 1/2 red and white paper and used my SU border punch to created a little border along the flap. I added some ribbon and tied a cute tag on the bag. I used My Creative Time scallop and stitched die along with My Creative Time~My favorite sayings stamp set for the sentiment. I added a bag of Carmel corn which is inside the treat bag. Yummy! Here is the side view:)
I also made a treat that you could give to a classmate or best buddy at school :)
Everyone loves M & M's right??
I just wrapped this with pattern paper and added some ribbon. I cut the scallop with the Nestabilities Scalloped rectangles and embossed it with the polka dots folder. I cut the little boy from the Car Decals cartridge at 3". The sentiment is from TPC Studio~I love school set.
Here is the lineup in case you get lost along the way:

Coffee filter flower tutorial
Hi Everyone,
I thought I would share a quick tutorial on the flower I made last week on one of my cards that I posted. I have been asked by several people so here you go:)
Start out with a couple cone coffee filters and some glimmer mist. I used Tattered Angel glimmer mist.Colors~Jingle Bells, Granite and Candy Apple Red.
Spray in on both sides and then let it fry. To speed the drying process I used my heating gun and it dried in a matter of a couple minutes.
Then use your SU scallop punch and punch out 4 which will give you 8 because your punching through both layers. Do that on all of the filters.
I then pierced a whole in the center of all layers so that I could put a brad in the center.
Then just start gathering the scallop towards the center, folding, pinching and turning. Do that with each layer, Don't be afraid to pinch it tightly because it will all feather out at the end.
I just kind of gently work the flower down a little and it forms into this beautiful flower. Pretty
ha:) ~this is Granite
That shimmery glimmer mist shows up so nice on the red:) ~this is Candy Apple Red.
Check out the yellow~this is Jingle Bells. Love them all and they are SO easy!!!
I hope you find time and make one. You will love them and you will want to put them on everything, LOL! I seen this on a video but I can not for the life of me remember who's blog I saw it on. So, I do apologize for not being able to give the credit to who it belongs to. I was just so inspired and I hope you are too:)
Hope it wasn't too long for you.....first tutorial :)

I'm so Grateful for you!
Hello Everyone,
Hope you all have had a wonderful and safe weekend!! We managed to get a lot done which always feels good. I had some time to get in my craft room and do some crafting. I made this little gift bag and matching card that you could use as a gift for a Friend, Grandparent or a special person in your life. I did keep in mind a few challenges that I wanted to play in as well while making this.
I cut this bag from Once Upon A Princess cartridge at 5 3/4. I decorated it up with some pretty prima flowers, a corduroy brad and some crinkle ribbon~ from ( My Craft Spot ) for the bow. I also used an adhesive faux pearl flourish under the sentiment. The sentiment is from Papertrey ink~signature greetings set. I filled it with some yummy caramel corn but the possibilities are endless.
I also made this cute little matching 3 x 3 card. I cut the tag and oval from the Once Upon a Princess cartridge at 1 1/2 and the sentiment is from BugBites new release set called "ALL YEAR ROUND" set. If your looking for a stamp set that has a variety of stamps that you can use year round~this is the set. Stop over at BugBites and check it out!
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday challenge~Flourishes
2.) Cricut 360 Challenge #10~Grandparents
3.) M.A.G Challenge by the Page ~#42 Once Upon a Princess-pg 66

The sentiment~falling for you is from My Creative Time~All Around Halloween and the face is from Peachy Keen~Monster Mash face asst. I added a little stitching and a cute polka dot bow to finish it up. I am entering this in a challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas ~Challenge #30 Fall colors.

Wow, so can you believe it's September already??? Yikes, where did our summer go? Is everyone ready for Labor Day weekend?? I hope we can find a little time and take a drive up the north shore. It's so beautiful this time of year especially with the trees changing and all the beautiful colors. Speaking of fall.....you know that Halloween is right around the corner so my project that I am going to share with you is just that. Hope you enjoy it!
I found this adorable witches hat on the Mini Monsters cartridge and used my gypsy to weld into a shaped card. I cut it at fit to page which was 7 1/4 plus all the layers. I embossed the accent pieces with the polka dots and spots folder.
The cute spider is from the Happy Haunting cartridge cut at 5". I added a little stitching, some ribbon and a prima flower at the top and a little lace at the bottom of the hat. The sentiment is from My Creative Time ~One of her new sets~All around Halloween set.

Thinking of you
Hello Everyone,
There is a fun challenge going on over at Celebrate the Occasion. This weeks challenge is to follow the sketch below to create a project and post by September 4th. Still some time to join in the fun:)
This is a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base and base layer at 4 1/8 x 5 3/8. I cut the accent leaves from the Holiday Cakes cartridge at 1 1/2 and the border is from a Martha Stewart border punch. I used some seam binding ribbon, gathered it up and used my sewing machine to make a stitch through the ribbon.
I made this gorgeous flower from a cone coffee filter along with some glimmer mist, let it dry and then use your 1 3/4 scallop punch to punch out a total of 8 scallops. Put a brad through the center of all 8 and gather and pinch it up towards the center of the brad. I seen this on someones blog and I am so sorry for not remembering who's it was~it turned out beautiful!! You just gotta try making one~you will be hooked after you do:)
