Hello Everyone,
I hope your week is starting off great. It's hard to believe we are half way into September already. Where does the time go?
I can't believe how cool the mornings have been. The air is so crisp, leaves are just a changing. Such a pretty time of year here:) I am hoping to get out this weekend and take some pictures!
Well, I wanted to share a quick, inexpensive treat/party favor with you. It has many possibilities but I made it for Halloween and thinking of making them for all my co-workers or for some of the little goblins that will be knocking on my door real soon.
These little tube containers were about .88 each. I filled them with candy corn (which is a weakness for me this time of year) and topped it off with a cute witch that I cut from the Mini Monster cartridge at 3 3/4 and her layers. I used My Creative Time ~scallop and stitched circle die and the sentiment is from BugBites ~All Year Round Stamp Set. I tied on some decorative fibers and voila...done. Quick, easy and inexpensive! Just be sure to buy an extra bag of candy because if your like me...you defiantly will eat candy corn while your making these, lol! Have fun making them!
Entering this over at Decorate to Celebrate ~Anything goes challenge
Thanks for visiting,
Sherrie K

Sherrie, this is amazing! :o) You made the most adorable witch I've ever seen! :o) The stitching is wonderful and her expression is fabulous! Beyond that though, I LOVE that you set her in front of beautiful ribbon and flowy twine and such. (Forgive my lack of proper words.. I am in a rush and can't seem to think! Teehee!) Incredible project, my creative friend! Why is candy corn so crazy addicting?! I love the pumpkin variety, too!
