Hey there pumpkin!

 Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!!

I hope your all having a good week!  The weather has been pretty nice the last few days and have enjoyed being outside just getting some things done before winter is here. I can't believe it is almost November, time flies!

I made a card for a challenge over at My Sheri Crafts Challenge #71~It's the great pumpkin. You still have a few days if you'd like to join it. See ya there!

My card base is from DCWV A-2 matchbook card that I picked up at a local craft store. I covered it with some fun patter paper. I cut my pumpkin from the Mini Monsters cartridge at 3 3/4 plus the layers. I added a little stitching, some glossy accents for the eyes and a big satin ribbon bow. The fun sentiments are from My Creative Time ~Gift Card Sentiment set and the All Around Halloween set.

    Sherrie that is a great color combination love the pink with the orange and the burgundy ribbon is the perfect accent color.

    I didn't know you could buy matchbook card bases. I have never seen a matchbook card, but now that I have, I'll be making them. How adorable is this! Love that pumpkin guy...and the color of the bow you chose really ties everything up (yeah, I'm not very punny). This is totally adorable! Thanks for sharing. Must put DS cap on and create a matchbook card.

    Oh my gosh, this is so adorable, Sherrie!! I love the pretty papers and the pumpkin kid is so awesome!! As usual, you bow is just perfect! I have never seen the matchbook cards...I'm intrigued!! Gonna have to look for those on my next trip to the craft store!! :)

    Oh how cute! A pumpkin monster... who else would think of that?! I love your creative mind to use it in such a sweet way. The heart trim is so pretty and I love the papers. The ribbon is so gorgeous and you are always such an expert with detail! The embossing and stitching add such punch to this sweet pumpkin. :o) Beautiful work, my friend!
