Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
I can't believe it's the last day of November already!! The month flew by, ha? As busy as next month will be, I really look forward to December. I love the Christmas parades, baking, shopping and spending time with family and friends.
I was able to sneak in my craft room today to clean it and get it organized again. It looked like a hurricane went through it, yikes! I also took some time to make a few Christmas cards and this is one of them I would like to share with you:)
My card base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, base layer is 4 x 5 1/4. I punched out a circle from the pattern paper using the SU 1 3/8 circle punch so that the red base layer would show through the opening. I stamped the sentiment-Warmest Winter Wishes from My Pink Stamper ~Winter Punnies set.
I cut the cute little snowman from the Snow Friends cartridge at 3" and all the layers. I embossed some of the layers with the swiss dots folder. The face is from Peachy Keen Stamps -Wide eyed kids set. I cut the tag at 4 1/2 from Art Philosophy cartridge and then embossed it with snowflakes folder. I pop dotted and layered the cute little snowman to the tag. I then added some bling, metal corner pieces and some fun sparkly snowflakes that I had in my stash.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Robin's Creative Cottage ~ Let it Sparkle
2.) Cardz TV ~ Make a Christmas card using a image that starts with an "S"
3.) Crafty Sprouts ~ tag it-use a tag on your project
4.) Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday ~ use metal
5.) Whimsical Designs ~Layer it

Happy Thanksgiving!!
Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!!
If you would like to enter in my giveaway in honor of my new Granddaughter, please go HERE
For this weeks Challenge me Monday at FCCB, please click HERE or scroll down.
Wow, another post today! I am trying to make it before the deadline on a few challenges. It's been a bit crazy in this household lately so I am running a bit behind but I really wanted to play.
This will be a busy week for all of us with Thanksgiving in just a few days. I am excited that all of my kids will be home for Thanksgiving this year. We have so much to be thankful for but I am most thankful for family and friends. I am looking forward to spending some quality time with them this week and the weekend!
I was able to sneak away and find a little time to create this card for a few challenges. I am struggling to get in my craft room this last few weeks. Things will settle down soon and I will be back on track.
The card base is 5 x 5, base layer 4.75 x 4.75. I cut the turkey from Animal Kingdom cartridge at 3 3/4 plus some of the layers. This turkey looks a little drunk or cross sided, don't ya think? LOL!
I added a pretty rosette in place of the feather layers. I had to add some google eyes. Cute, ha? I used the spellbinders-classic scalloped rectangles for the scallop layer. The sentiment is from Hero Arts. I topped it off with some fun bakers twine, lemon drop and maraschino from Scrappy Moms Stamps for a bow and a little yellow feather on her head. Have a great day!
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Die Cuttin Divas ~Turkey Time
2.) Whimsical Designs ~Happy Turkey Day
3.) Paper Cutz ~ Let's talk turkey-Thanksgiving and a turkey cut
4.) More Than Favors-Wacky Wednesday ~Thanksgiving Theme
5.) Robin's Creative Cottage ~Link Up Party. Robin has just revealed her two stamp set and they are for purchase now. You gotta go check them out-they are fantastic!
Thanks for stopping!

FCCB-Harvest Cricut Crawl Winner!!
Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
Thanks everyone who joined in the FCCB Harvest Cricut Crawl Blog hop. That was so much fun and so many awesome projects, don't ya think?
So, do you remember my project for the Cricut Crawl Blog hop?? I did a scrapbook page for my daughters family scrapbook HERE but did not have a picture for it at the time. Well, last night we got to watch Princess Arya for a little while and I got to thinking.....hmmm, lets see what we can do about getting a picture for that scrapbook page that I did and complete that page.
So, I put Grandpa to work quickly and used my garden cart that I had and filled it with some hay, a couple pumpkins and a little leafy swag for some colors. Arya did so good just laying there very content.
I am sure Arya was wondering .......what is this crazy Grandma doing! LOL! I think it turned out pretty good considering we didn't have a lot of time to do this before they got back. I couldn't really prop her in there very good either other then just lying her in there since she's so tiny. Thanks for looking!
Now for the winner of the FCCB Harvest Cricut Crawl!!!
Drum roll......................
My winner, via Random.org from the hop is: #13
Kate from Small Bits of Paper Congratulations Kate!! Please drop me an email with your information so I can get this prize to you!

Give Thanks!
Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
I hope your all having a great week! It has been busy for me this last week but I have a card that I would like to share that I made for a few challenges.
I made this 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card base. I cut out the pumpkin at 2" from the Oct 31st solution cartridge. I did it a few times so I could cut it in another color, green for the leaves. I embossed the leaves with the polka dot folder. I added the cute little face from the PK-Everyday Character Face set. I used a SU border punch for the border, added a button, twine from My Craft Spot and a pretty satin bow. The sentiment "Give Thanks" is from BugBites All Year Round set.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) My Sheri Crafts ~challenge #73-Thanksgiving or Thank You theme
2.) Celebrate The Occasions ~Thanksgiving-must use a punch
3.) Scraptastic Monday ~challenge-embossing, twine and 1 of your favorite colors (green)

FCCB-Challenge #86-Harvest Cricut Crawl Blog Hop
Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion and the Fantabulous Cricut Harvest Blessings Crawl...Fantabulous Cricut's version of a blog hop!
It's Fall and everyone at Fantabulous Cricut has decided to create projects to give thanks for our Harvest Blessings! Each Design Team member will be featuring an original Fall project that includes Brown, Orange and Red – along with at least one Cricut cut.
If you've come from visiting the amazing and talented, SARAH at Sarah's Stamping and Stuff, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our Fantabulous Cricut Crawl, start HERE .
Make sure to check out each DT member's blog for some awesome inspiration! There will be PRIZES along the way at some of our DT members' blogs, AND there will be a Grand Prize up for grabs at FCCB for one participant that submits a "Harvest Blessings" project at FCCB!
As you know, I am a Grandma now, Yeah! My daughter gave birth to healthy baby girl on Friday 11/11/11. We couldn't be more proud of her! She is definitely a little pumpkin and we are truly blessed! Congrats April and Durc!!
Here is my project: I made this scrap page to add to my Daughters Family scrap book. I was hoping the baby would have made her entrance into the world at Halloween time when making this page. I do think she can still use this page and fill in a picture over Thanksgiving time. I have pictured in my mind a wagon filled with leaves, pine cones, fall foliage and a few pumpkins with her propped in the center.....wouldn't that be cute?
I cut the tree at 9" from the Zooballoo cartridge and the cute little owl cut at 2" from the Create a Critter cartridge. The pumpkins are cut from the Paper Dolls Dress Up cartridge at 3.06 and 2.85 and I used the hide feature on the face so I could use the PK-Dolly Dumplins and the Everyday Character set for the cute faces. The "Our"-cut at 2.76, "Little"-cut at 4.11 and the "Pumpkin" cut at 5.69 all from the Once Upon a Princess cartridge. I used a MS border punch for the pretty border and some silk ribbon for the bow. The sentiment- "blessings" is from TradeFish Designs -Got Leaves set. I matted a place for a 5 x 7 photo and wrapped some yummy chocolate truffle twine from My Craft Spot around it. I hope you enjoy my project.
How about some Blog Candy???
1.) Become a Follower
2.) Leave a comment letting me know that you are a follower and a way to reach you if

This is our first Grandchild and we are so excited~ I am so proud of her and happy for her and her fiance. Arya Averie weighed 6 lb 11oz born on 11/11/11. She is absolutely beautiful! It's been a LONG couple days but before I take off to go see my little princess, I wanted to share a quick project with you that I made:)
I have made another gift bag similar to the one last week. I got the idea from Robin's Creative Cottage . For the details/video on these adorable bags, check it out HERE . These are the perfect size for a small gift or to add a yummy treat inside. What I love most is, you can decorate them for ANY occasion. Don't ya just love that?

I used Peachy Keen Stamps ~Princess face set for the darling face. The curly label die cut is from My Creative Time and the sentiment is from K Andrew Designs ~Fall-o-ween set. Happy Turkey Day!
Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
It's starting to feel like winter...it's been pretty chilly and windy today. Oh, I'm so not ready for winter! But, I do like this time of year for a few reasons.... I love to decorate, shop and love to bake this time of year. So, that I look forward to!
Today, I have made a Thanksgiving Day card that I would like to share with you. I cut the card base from Elegant Edges at 5.07 x 10.21 and the base layer at 4.35 x 4.65. Take Time To Relax
Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
Hope you are all having a wonderful day! I had an awesome weekend with a group of friends
at a scrapbook retreat. We had a blast! I was able to get a lot of projects done and a
start to my Christmas cards.
It's challenge time again over at Fantabulous Cricut today. The challenge this week is:
"Book Lover" - make a book, project with a book on it or even a bookmark.
It sounded like a lot of fun and had to join in. I can't wait til next week as it will be my first actual Design Team Member project for FCCB.

amazing Design Team has created for you this week.
Here is my project:
My card base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, base layer is 4 x 5 1/4. I cut this handsome little guy at
4 3/4 from the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge plus the layers. I embossed his
pants with the Su-lattice folder. When I cut the book, I cut it in 4 layers so I could pop each page to give it a little dimension. I added a star border using an EK Success punch along with adding
some ribbon and a bow.

The cute face is from PK-Everyday Character set.
I also made a matching bookmark. I cut it at 4 x 5 1/2 folded in in half and adhered it down.
I rounded the corners and added 5 punch holes at the top to add ribbon. I stamped and heat embossed using the SU tassel time and seeing spots stamp set. I cut the little
bookworm at 1 1/2 from Create a Critter cartridge and again did the same as above for the book.
The scallop circle and stitched circle die is from My Creative Time and the sentiment is from
Pink By Design-Summer Vacation.

Thanksgiving Table Decorations Blog Hop!
Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion and Sylvia's Thanksgiving Table Decorations Blog Hop. We hope you enjoy the hop and pick up some wonderful ideas and inspiration this group of talented ladies in the lineup have in store for you. Also, some yummy blog candy along the way. If you came from my creative and very talented friend Diana over at DaisyLove Creations you are in the right spot. If you have stumbled upon my blog and would like to play along, please do so by starting over at http://bellascrapbookdesigns.blogspot.com/ We are to asked to make decorations for our Thanksgiving table...such as centerpieces, napkin rings, placemats, place cards etc.
For my project I have decided to try and make one of these fantastic paper pumpkins. I got the idea from Creations with Christina when she had a video on it. I thought it would be fun to try and make one as a centerpiece for Thanksgiving. I just love these little pumpkins, so festive, ha? Thanks
Christina for sharing your video and step by step instructions!
I cut 12- 1 x 6 strips of pattern paper, then punched a hole on both ends. Then added a brad to one end and hooked them all together. I pulled each strip up and onto the 2nd brad until all on brad and fastened the brad. There you have the pumpkin, now you can decorate it.
I cut the leaves at 3 3/4 and 4 1/4 from thr Straight from the Nest cartridge. I embossed the leaves with the dots folder and the divine swirls folder. The acorns are cut from the Create A Critter cartridge at 1 1/2. I added some paper rafiia for the stem and for the doily mat it sits on is cut at 7" from Elegant Edges cartridge. Please be sure to pay Christina a visit for all the directions on making these fun paper pumkins.

Toad-ally Fabulous!
Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
Hi all! Hope your having a good evening! I have decided today to spend a little time organizing and cleaning my craft room. Lately, it's as if a hurricane went through it...yikes! Totally, not kidding! Anyway, I did take a break to make a quick card for a challenge that I wanted to participate in. The challenge is September Ninth-Tacky Tuesday Challenge #12. The challenge is create a project with a "frog" on it. Also, use the word "frog" or "toad" in the sentiment.
Here is my project:
I cut the shaped card from the Lacy labels cartridge at 4.75 x 5.53 using my gypsy. The base layer is cut at 4.25 x 4.95. I cut the cute toad at 2 1/2 from the Give a Hoot cartridge plus the layers. I embossed the toad with the polka dots folder and the lily pad with the divine swirls folder. I added some cool lookin' google eyes I purchased a while back at Michael's. Cute ha? The tag is cut from Once upon a Princess cartridge at 1 3/4 and the sentiment is from My Pink Stamper-Punny-licious set.
Thanks for stopping,

Bundle of Joy
Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
I can't believe it's November! Wow, where did October go? October was sure a fun month of creating Halloween projects. Wow, talk about talent out there. I could not believe the wonderful projects and inspiration. Such a fun month!!
My first post as a Design Team Member for Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog is not until November 14th, but I couldn't resist playing in the challenge this week. The challenge this week is"For the Birds"- you are to create a card, layout or project with a bird on it (or something to do with a bird, such as a birdhouse )
Because of the light colors and the lighting, I really had a difficult time getting a good picture
of this card. Sorry!
Here is my project:
I made a baby card for an upcoming baby shower I am attending. My card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.
I cut the stork at 4 1/4 from the Wrap it Up cartridge plus the layers. I don't know if you can see it very well.... I added a little piece of fluffy boa between the layers to add
a little feathery look to the bird. Fun, ha? I embossed the back layer using the SU Petals-a-Plenty folder. I added a border using a border punch from EK Sucess and added a few pearl gems. The sentiment is from Pink but Design-Baby Love set.
I added a pretty bow, prima flower and button to finish it up.
Be sure to stop over at Fantabulous Cricut and join in the challenge!
Thanks for stopping,
Sherrie K
