Wow, another post today! I am trying to make it before the deadline on a few challenges. It's been a bit crazy in this household lately so I am running a bit behind but I really wanted to play.
This will be a busy week for all of us with Thanksgiving in just a few days. I am excited that all of my kids will be home for Thanksgiving this year. We have so much to be thankful for but I am most thankful for family and friends. I am looking forward to spending some quality time with them this week and the weekend!
I was able to sneak away and find a little time to create this card for a few challenges. I am struggling to get in my craft room this last few weeks. Things will settle down soon and I will be back on track.
The card base is 5 x 5, base layer 4.75 x 4.75. I cut the turkey from Animal Kingdom cartridge at 3 3/4 plus some of the layers. This turkey looks a little drunk or cross sided, don't ya think? LOL!
I added a pretty rosette in place of the feather layers. I had to add some google eyes. Cute, ha? I used the spellbinders-classic scalloped rectangles for the scallop layer. The sentiment is from Hero Arts. I topped it off with some fun bakers twine, lemon drop and maraschino from Scrappy Moms Stamps for a bow and a little yellow feather on her head. Have a great day!
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Die Cuttin Divas ~Turkey Time
2.) Whimsical Designs ~Happy Turkey Day
3.) Paper Cutz ~ Let's talk turkey-Thanksgiving and a turkey cut
4.) More Than Favors-Wacky Wednesday ~Thanksgiving Theme
5.) Robin's Creative Cottage ~Link Up Party. Robin has just revealed her two stamp set and they are for purchase now. You gotta go check them out-they are fantastic!
Thanks for stopping!
