You're tea-riffic

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!

Hope your all having a great week!! I would like to share a card that I made for a friend of mine. Since she is a tea drinker, this is perfect for her. I am also entering it in a challenge over at Getting Cricky Simple Sunday Challenge ~Tea Time.


The card base is cut from the Elegant Edges cartridge at 5.50 x 4.50. The base layers at 5.00 x 4.09 and 4.76 x 3.90. I cut the tea cup at 4 1/2 plus the layers from the Winter Frolic cartridge. I embossed the cup layer using the divine swirls folder, added some stickles to the snowflake along with a couple gems. The sentiment is from  Fiskars-Latte/Love set. I topped it off with a big silk bow:)

    Did you put a pocket inside the card to insert a bag of tea? If not, might be a good suggestion, huh?

    Beautiful! I love the shape your your card and all your doodles just make the image pop! What a beautiful bow you created, so wish I could tie a half-way decent bow...sigh. I know your friend will treasure this card, it's really lovely!

    Love the colors you chose for this. That ribbon is perfect. And as I sit here with the first of what will be a half dozen cups of tea today, I am loving that I have a moment to outshine the coffee drinkers. I'd love this, so you are right on the mark. Fabulous!

    This is so gorgeous, Sherrie! :o) The colors are so feminine and beautiful, and look just stunning together.
