Dude...wishing you the Best Birthday ever!

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!

Happy Saturday my crafty friends! It's a little snowy today here in Mn. It's so beautiful though, the snow is light and fluffy and the temperature's are perfect. I great day for snow angels!

I was so excited to get in my craft room and participate in a few challenges that have been going on this week. Some of them,  just in the nick of time:)  My card base is cut from the Create A Critter cartridge at 4.25 x 5.06 welded with my gypsy. The base layer is cut 3 3/4 x 4 1/2  and then rounded the corners. I cut a strip 1 x 3/4 from polka dot pattern paper to layer in the center to add another coordinating color to the project.

I cut this cute dude from the Car Decals cartridge at 3 3/4 a few times and paper pieced him together. The face is from PK Stamps-wide eyed kids which I used glossy accents on the eyes and gave him some rosy cheeks.

The sentiment-DUDE is from Cardz Tv stamp set-It's a Guy Thing.  I had just won this on a challenge at Cardz Tv-super cute set.....thanks so much!! The sentiment-Wishing you the Best Birthday ever is from My Creative Time ~Wow! So many candles set. If you are looking for a  birthday set-go check this one out-you will want it! Awesome set!

I am entering this in the following challenges:

1.) Cardz Tv ~Challenge #4-It's a Guy Thing!
2.) My Craft Spot ~Challenge #42-Let's hear it for the boys!
3.) Celebrate the Occasion ~Challenge #47-Masculine birthday
4.) Birthday Sundaes ~Challenge #40-Birthday card w/sentiment on front of card

Thanks so much for visiting and have a great wknd!
