Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
Happy Sunday!! I hope you are enjoying your weekend:) I am really having a hard time right now getting in my craft room to craft. I really apologize for not posting many projects lately:( I am wanting to but I ended up getting so far behind at work and at home after being sick. Now, little Arya has been sick again and trying to help my daughter and fiance a little to give them a break.
I also will be doing some traveling back and forth home (a couple hrs away) for a while because my Mother is having surgery and will be in need of some help for a while. So, if you notice not much being posted other than for my Design Team project commitment's, that's why. Please know as soon as things settle down, I will be back with some projects! I promise:)
I do have a quick card to share with you today. The card base is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 and the base layer is
5 3/8 x 5 3/8 which the top part was embossed with the sizzix flower folder. I cut the horse from the Winter Woodlands cartridge at 4" plus all the layers. I embossed some of the layers with the houndstooth and swiss dots folder. The felt flower and button are from Making Memories. I added a sentiment which is from SU-So Happy For You set, some rhinestones and a big satin bow for the final touches. I am also entering this in a challenge at Birthday Sundaes ~Challenge #2-Birthday card
w/sentiment on front.
*** If you are looking for a fun color challenge to play in, be sure to pop over to Go Fish Challenge Blog. There is still plenty of time for you to come join us! Can't wait to see what you create:)

Wow, Sherrie, what a pretty card. I have never seen a horse before on a Cricut cart other than maybe wild west, so I'm surprised. But I love what you did with it. Sounds like you have a lot on your plate right now. And while I know you'd love to be crafting, sometimes you just have to deal with life, and you are. We'll all still be here, no worry!--Pat N.

I hope everyone starts feeling better soon. It's so nice of you to be helping out where you can. Don't worry about us, we'll be waiting here when you have some time back. Even with all that you have going on you still managed to make a beautiful card. I need to use more patterned papers in my Cricut cuts. this turned out so nicely, it makes me want to just flip through my stacks.
