Have a tweet day!

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!

Happy Friday...Yahoo! I hope you all had a great week and looking forward to the weekend. I know that I am ready for the weekend. It has been a long week but I am feeling so much better!  I just finished my antibiotic so lets hope I am over with being sick finally.

Even though it is not my design team week at Fantabulous Cricut  I just had to find some time to play in the challenge. This weeks challenge is"Fun with Puns". Doesn't this sound like fun-you still have til Feb 19th to join in the challenge. So, come on...play along!!

I made this shaped card from the Elegant Edges cartridge and cut it at 5.38 x 10.81 using my gypsy. The base layers are cut at 4.91 x 5.15 and 4.87 x 5.11.  I cut the cute little chick from the Create A Critter cartridge at 3 3/4 plus the layers. I added some feathers between the chick layers and added a couple prima flowers. I also added fun buttercup crinkle ribbon from My Craft Spot and the sentiment is from My Pink Stamper -Tweetie Hoo Puns  which I heat embossed. I topped the card off with a little faux stitching and a big polka dot bow:) I am also entering this in a challenge over at Cardz TV~ Challenge #102 A Stitch of Time.

Thanks for visiting,
Sherrie K
