Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
I have two cards that I made for a couple special blogger friends that went out of their way to be so sweet and thoughtful. I wanted to send them a special thank you card to let them both know it meant a lot. Thank you Carri and Lisa!!!
I cut the card base from the Forever Young cartridge at 5 1/4. I used my gypsy to weld the shape together. I cut the base layer at 5 and distressed the edges with Time Holtz~Victorian Velvet.
The girl was cut at 5" also from the Forever Young cartridge along with the layers. I cut a small a layered mat and gave it a lacy border using a Martha Stewart border punch and added a sentiment which is from Pink By Design ~All Girl set.
I finished it off by using a pretty black stitched ribbon that I had in my stash along with some fun flower embellishments that I received from my blogger buddy Carri at Double Click Connections. Thanks so much Carri!! I just love them:)
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Really Reasonable Ribbon ~Challenge #46-Black, white and one other accent color plus ribbon.
2.) Little Scrap Pieces ~Use pink and/or purple
Thanks for stopping,
Sherrie K
