Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
I can't believe Easter is in just a few days. Wow, it came fast, ha? I will be taking a small break to visit family over the next 4-5 days. So, you may not hear much from me but I will be back next week to check out all the amazing projects that I missed. I do have another project scheduled to post on Saturday, so hope you make it back to check it out:) Have a Happy Easter!!
I want to share with you a quick treat bag that I made. I started out with a small paper bag that I got at the local craft store. I measured and covered the front with fun pattern paper which was 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 and the back side 3 1/4 x 7. I then score the back piece at 5 1/2 for the flap and then adhered it to the bag. I added a lacy trim piece to the flap to dress it up some.
The cute bunny was cut from the Create a Critter cartridge at 3.87 x 2.89 hiding the face features so I could use my Peachy Keen Stamps set~Cute & Cuddly. I added some fun grass using my Martha Stewart fringe scissors. The sentiments are from My Craft Spot ~ Happy Easter set which I love! You should go check out the new stamps that were just released HERE. They are AMAZING!! I finished my treat bag up by adding a satin double bow, button and some twine. Hope you like it!
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) My Craft Spot ~Challenge #50-Easter
2.) Jaded Blossom ~Easter Treats
3.) Really Reasonable Ribbon ~Challenge #45-button & bows theme
4.) Creative Cutter Room ~Easter or Bunny on project
Thanks for visiting,
Sherrie K
