Lucky to have you in my life!

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!

I hope you are all having a great week so far. The weekend will be here before we know it! I was hoping to get into my craft room and get it cleaned today...wow, it's like a tornado hit it, lol! I usually never have it this bad. Yikes!  I am so far behind on things lately.....anyone else in my shoes??

I have a quick card that I made today for all my blogger buddies out there.....using the Slumber Party cartridge. The card base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and the base layer is 4 x 5 1/4 which I rounded the corners. I cut this cute bear plus the layers at 3.94 x 3.81 using my gypsy so I could hide the face features so I could use a fun Peachy Keen face stamp.

I embossed the bear with the tiny bubbles folder and added a little doodling and pop dotted the bear for dimension. The face is stamped using the Peachy Keen~Critter Faces set along with a layer of glossy accents.  I added a fun little ribbon and prima flowers to dress the bear up a little. The sentiment I used is from My Creative Time ~This & That set and that layer was also pop dotted for dimension.

I am very grateful for all my blogger buddies out there-I appreciate your visits and comments and SO lucky to have you in my life! Have a great day!

I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #13-Anything Goes!
2.) Little Scrap Pieces Challenge-Use a flower on your project.
3.) My Craft Spot ~Make it pop!
Thanks for stopping,
Sherrie K

  13. I can relate to what you are saying... It's endless trying to straighten out my craft room too..
I'll have it all tidy up and as soon as I start doing one card after another, everything gets haywire from the work desk to the floor to the storage containers...
But hey Sherrie back to your card this is just sweet and precious... love this embossed teddy.... so darn cute.....

  14. Sherrie, you are as sweet as this precious teddy bear! :o) What a gift to us this is! That bear is adorable! She's in perfect hugging position. :o) The PK face is so sweet and I adore the flowers and ribbon in her hair. This sentiment is perfect for the card and my favorite part is that you backed it in yellow.. just like you made the bear bursting with sunshiny love! (The embossing is beautiful.) Wonderful work as always, my friend! Thanks for the smile.. WE are all so lucky to have you in our lives!

    Hugs and blessings!

  18. Oh my gosh, is this adorable!! I just love the little bear...the bubbles embossing folder was a great idea!! And the bow in her hair is so sweet!! I just love this!!

I think the tornado that swept through your craft room veered my way and hit mine, too :P I have paper everywhere...I'm not kidding!! It's too overwhelming to think about cleaning...I need to be in a better frame of mind. So I just go in, shove the paper aside and create an even bigger mess!! It's a vicious cycle ;)

  21. Let's see, I don't know what any surface space or floor looks like in my craft room right now if that tells you anything. Because it's such a small case...really not much bigger than a walk in closet in most houses I struggle to keep things up plus I move right on from one project to the other.

Anywho...your card is adorable. I love the texture you added and the cute faux stitching!
