Save the Earth Cricut Crawl

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion and the SEVENTH Fantabulous Cricut Crawl..........Fantabulous Cricut's version of a Blog Hop!

In honor of our Home Planet, Mother Earth, we're having a "Save the Earth" Crawl...each Design Team member will be featuring an original Upcycled-Themed Project that includes at least one Reusable/Recycled Item along with at least ONE Cricut Cut.
If you've come from visiting my friend, Sheila over at http://sheloveshoes.blogspot.com, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our Fantabulous Cricut Crawl, start HERE
Make sure to check out each DT member's blog for some awesome inspiration! There will be PRIZES along the way at our DT members' blogs, AND there will be a Grand Prize up for grabs at FCCB for one participant that submits a "Save the Earth" project at FCCB!
How fun is that?
For my project... I have recycled a Lipton Tea box to place a special gift for a friend of mine who is having a birthday.

I covered the box with some pretty pattern paper that I had in my stash. For the front of the box I used Spellbinders Label nine and Fancy tags along with a sentiment that is from K.Andrew Designs ~Scripture Sayings. I distressed all of the pieces with Tim Holtz-walnut stain. I adhered a border which was from a Martha Stewart punch along the edge of the box. I also added some fun lace, ribbon and some rhinestone flourishes and a pretty flower that is cut at 2 1/4 from the Art Philosophy cartridge. I plan on filling the box with some yummy chocolates and a mesh bag with a beautiful necklace in it. Hope she likes it:)

For the top of the box.....I added some pretty silk flowers, decorative button and some pine leaves which I used a pine branch punch from McGill. I added a sweet tag and sentiment from My Craft Spot ~tiny tag set.  Here is a close up of the top piece:)

So, how about some blog candy???

Here is what you need to do:

1.) Become a follower
2.) Leave me a comment letting me know you are and a way to reach you should you win.

***I will choose a winner, via random.org and post the winner on Sun. May 6th*** Please note, due to shipping I can only accept USA & Canada entries.

In case you should get lost along the way, here is the list participating in the crawl:)

Now it's your turn! Let's see your Upcycled-Themed projects! Make sure to include a Cricut Cut somewhere on your project!
Your next stop is the very talented......Sonya over at http://sonyaspapertrail.blogspot.com/. Go see what she has in store for you today... And when you're done, make sure to link up your project to FCCB's Fantabulous Cricut Crawl post to be entered into the contest!
Happy Crawling!
