I hope your all enjoying your weekend! I thought I would quickly sneak in a project today before my day got really hectic and busy. I wanted to join in a few challenges..... so, I woke up early to getter' done!. I also took in a hop ....there are a lot of fun ones going on right now celebrating National Scrapbook Day:) Hope you find some time to craft today too:)

I thought this would be a great Mother's Day, friendship or just because card.  I cut this shaped hat card from the Forever Young cartridge at 4.75 x 5.53 using my gypsy to weld the shapes together. I cut the layers in pattern paper from My Minds Eye and added a touch of lace to the layers. 

I embossed the one hat with the sizzix flower folder giving it a textured look and distressed it a bit with Tim Holtz-old papers distressing ink. I found some tulle in my stash and added it to the flower piece on the hat along with a sentiment which is from My Pink Stamper ~Pinka-licious set. So, what do you think?
