Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
Happy Saturday all!! I have a quick card to share with you before I am out the door to a Bridal Shower for a friend of mine who's daughter is getting married in a couple weeks. This card is cricut-less, gasp!! Yeah, can you believe it? It wasn't intended that way just realized as I am writing this post that I never used it. Wow, that doesn't happen to often.
My card base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and the base layer in pink is cut at 4 1/4 x 5 1/4. I added another mat which is cut at 3 3/4 x 4 and then stamped this beautiful dress and sentiment from the stamp set I purchased at Jaded Blossom called Wedding Wishes. This is such a great set for Wedding or Anniversary cards! I then embossed this with the swiss dots folder and then layered it on a black mat that is cut at 3 7/8 x 4 1/8. I added a small double bow using bakers twine and a small white rose to the dress along with a splash of glitter. I finished the card by adding a double satin bow and added some stamped swirl accents also in this stamp set. This card took me about 15 minutes to make-what a great card to mass produce, ha? I definitely will be making a lot of these :)
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge #49-Flowers & Ribbon
2.) Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #67- Anything Goes
3.) Little Scrap Pieces Fun Friday Challenge-Emboss it
Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend!
