Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Don' t they always go fast? We always seem to cram so much in and Monday is here before we know it :( I had a lot of friends along with my daughter who ran the HUGE Grandma's marathon this weekend. They had over 17,000 runners. Isn't that crazy? Seriously, I would croak 15 minutes into it but, kudos's to my daughter who finished the race and was proud of her time. This was her first year of training and says she's excited to race again. Congrats April!
It is my design team day over Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog today. This project will be my last design team project at FCCB. I am definitely going to miss everyone! I hope to play in some of the future challenges if time allows. I have an extremely busy schedule the next couple months with my daughters wedding and a lot on my plate right now. I can't "thank" Robin enough for having me. I have enjoyed every minute of it and have enjoyed all the team members!! Thanks again for this wonderful opportunity Robin!
The Challenge Me Monday challenge is-Blue Bells. Create a project with a bell, church or cross-including the color blue (doesn't have to be religious)

Here is my project:
I have always loved the bell cut on the Wrap it Up cartridge and so I thought I would create a card using that cut. Take a look HERE for another project using this same bell cut when I was a GD for FCCB last June.
I used Spellbinders Grand Scallop Rectangles for the base of the card which was inked up using SU-Bashful Blue. I used the smaller scallop die for the base layer which I embossed with the Divine Swirls folder. I cut the bell at 4" along with the layers. The bell layer in silver was cut from pre-embossed paper I had in my stash-no idea where I got it from, but love it:)
I added a fun double bow using Stampin Up using gray taffeta ribbon and a small tag from My Craft Spot called tiny tags. I heat embossed the "For the Newlyweds" sentiment to assure no smudging on this shiny paper. I added beautiful rose trimmings from Tim Holtz and some beaded pearls and gem flourishes to finish the card.
I am entering this in a challenge at Paper Playtime ~Say it with sentiments-Anything Goes!
