Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!!
Happy Tuesday Everyone!!! I hope your all having a wonderful week so far. I can't believe it's the 4th of July tomorrow. Yikes, where does the time go?
I think things are finally getting back to normal around here. We are hoping to figure out this weekend what type of flooring we want to put in. So, we will be doing a little shopping to see what out options are and hopefully get started on that real soon. I am so glad to have everything washed, cleaned and somewhat organized, yay!!
We are planning on taking in the 4th of July parade and festivities tomorrow :) Looking forward to that and seeing little Arya go to her first 4th of July parade! I hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July! Enjoy the day and be safe!
I managed to get in my craft room for a little bit this afternoon and have a quick card that I made to share with you. The base of the card is from Spellbinders~Grand Scallop Rectangles along with the base layer. I added Spellbinders Classic Rectangle and then layered a fun rosette.
The scalloped circle that is cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge at 1 1/2 and then layered a banner from Spellbinders~Ribbon Banners die. The sentiment, God Bless America is from My Creative Time~My Little Firecracker set. I also added a star that is cut at 1 1/2 from the Art Philosophy cartridge and a fun sheer bow to finish the card. The papers are all from We R Memory Keepers~Red, White and Blue Stack pack kit....awesome papers for making 4th of July cards or doing layouts :)
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Little Scrap Pieces ~In honor of 4th of July-Use a star
2.) Celebrate the Occasion~ Challenge #69-4th of July
3.) My Craft Spot ~Challenge # 62-4th of July
