Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
Happy Saturday!!! I hope your all enjoying your day! It is a little rainy and overcast here today so I have been doing some housework, laundry, grocery shopping and now spending the later afternoon with my Granddaughter, Arya. She is 9 1/2 months old now and cruising around like crazy. She is pulling herself up to everything and walking around the furniture. She has the cutest personality and just love spending time with her!!!
I did make a little time today before Arya came over to get in my craft room to make a quick card :)
I used Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Rectangles die for the base and base layer. The label is from Spellbinders Labels Nine which I then layered this wise owl that is cut at 3 1/2 from the Give A Hoot cartridge. The papers are from My Minds Eye fine and dandy boys. My dear friend Chriss at Scrappin' with Chriss and Lou surprised me and sent me some goodies a few weeks back on a "Pay it Forward" and I just love the patterns in this collection. Thanks again Chriss!! The tag is from Spellbinders-Fancy tag dies and the sentiment is from Hero Arts-All Occasion set. I inked a bit with Tim Holtz-old paper distressing ink. The corner accents are Spellbinders Moroccan Accents die. I finished my card by adding a fun double bow.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Creative Cutter Room ~Googly Eye Challenge
2.) Paper Playtime ~Challenge #82-Polka dots and a sentiment
I also want to share a little package of goodies I sent out to an awesome blogger friend to brighten her day. I wanted to "Pay it Forward" as Chriss did for me! I hope she is surprised as much as I was!
Thanks for visiting,
Sherrie k
