Happy Monday!!! I hope you all had a great weekend. I can't believe how fast it went :( Oh well, I think we are back on track now. The newlyweds are back home and the trip was amazing! We had a blast with Arya all week. She was such a good little girl and so happy...piece of cake! We will now be getting things ready for her upcoming birthday. She will be turning one on 11/11.....They want to do the Elmo theme as Arya loves Elmo. So, I guess I know what I will be working on in my spare time....yup, you guessed it...Elmo decorations!
I was able to sneak in my craft room today finally and do a little crafting. I made a Halloween card to have on hand and to play in a few challenges that I have been missing out on and excited to join in.
I used the Spellbinders Grand Label Four for the base of my card along with the base layer. The papers are from the DCWV`The midnight Spell Stack. The witch is cut from the Happy Hauntings cartridge at 4" along with the layers. I added a sentiment which is from the K Andrew Designs ~Fall-O-ween set. I finished it off by adding a flourish and a small double sheer bow. I was really having a hard time getting a good picture of this....just couldn't get the right lighting, ugh! Sorry!
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) My Craft Spot~ Challenge #71-Boo to you
2.) My Crafting Channel~Challenge #1-Anything Halloween
3.) Little Scrap Pieces~Fun Friday Challenge-Anything Halloween
4.) Simply Crafts~Anything Halloween
5.) Paper Playtime~Trick or Treat

Hi there my friend! I couldn't be more happy that the week went great and the newlyweds had a wonderful time! Awesome! Your card is just so wicked:)sorry couldn't resist. I love the paper and of course that GREAT shape.
ReplyDeleteLife has been so busy(I like it that way) with work and my little one in soccer & flag football. My oldest is doing much better and actually having a little fun:)
This weekend was a 3 day for our district so the kids are off today. I let my son have some friends sleepover last night and they did pretty good - all asleep by 10:30. Not bad except they were all up at 5:00 am...no fun making pancakes at 5:00;)
They've been outside playing since 6:30 - I'm sure the neighbors love me this morning!
I hope you have a terrific day! So excited for the Elmo party!
Shelly

ReplyDeleteYou asked about A Frightful Affair and I would definitely recommend it!! It has some gruesome images like a crime scene with blood...it speaks to the murder mystery fan in me!! Since I was gone, I've only had the chance to use it once but I hope to experiment with different images this week :)
So glad you are back!! I've missed you!!
Hugs, Lisa :)
