Hi Everyone! I hope you are having a great Sunday! Well, believe it or not little Arya will be soon celebrating her 1st birthday in a couple of weeks. I can't believe how fast this last year has gone. It seems I was just posting that my Granddaughter was born. Here is a couple pictures of Arya that I took just a week ago to share with you:)
She loves going into my kitchen drawers...and of course, taking everything out, lol! Stinker!
My daughter and her hubby picked out the Elmo theme for Arya's birthday since she loves Elmo. I was asked to make her invitations and couldn't pass that up. I hope to find the time to do the decorations as well and will post some pictures of that after her birthday.
My card base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I cut Elmo at 4" plus all the layers from the Elmo's Party cartridge. I embossed that background frame with the spots and dots folder. I added a strip of orange at 1 x 5 1/2 and also embossed that plus added a little twine bow. I really wanted to add a fun double bow but it's to hard to mail the invited with that large a bow. The "1" is cut at 1" from the Birthday Bash cartridge and the sentiment is from Jaded Blossom ~Wedding Wishes set.

Arya is so beautiful Sherrie!! They grow up way to fast. It seems that once they get to that first birthday, the rest come faster and faster!! Love the invite. Elmo is so cute!! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my Sherrie...she is growing up so quickly! And, she just gets cuter and cuter! You can see the mischief in those sweet little eyes. I know how quickly the time goes, my Emma spent the night with us last night and we crafted the night away...seems like she was just Arya's age and now she is almost 8 and wants to get into all my craft room drawers the way Arya gets into your kitchen drawers! What a treat for you to make invitations for her 1st birthday - so special for both of you!

So hard to believe you beautiful grandbaby will be a year old on the 11th! Where does the time go? My granddaughter Jasmine will be 8 also on the 11th on Nov. Love the invite who doesn't love Elmo. Can't wait to see the birthday decoration and more picture of your preciouse grand baby!
