Guest Designer for Decorate to Celebrate
Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
I am thrilled today to be a Guest Designer for Decorate to Celebrate!!! Thanks so much Amy for asking me:) I have always loved seeing all the fabulous creations on this challenge blog and so glad to be apart of the challenge today:)
The theme for this challenge is: "Holiday Choice" any party decoration or supply for any type of Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa Party.....completely YOUR choice! So, let's celebrate everything wonderful about December Holiday's with your table decorations, party banners, pennants, yard signs, cupcakes, party favors and more.....
I have made a fun table decoration for the upcoming holidays to share with you. I have a friend that shared this idea with me that she found on Pinterest. I saw this and new immediately I had to try this. They are super fun and really easy to put together:
I purchased the foam cones at Michael's in the different sizes. I dabbed on some SU green and red ink to the cones and then hot glued the red and green mints to them. I added a fun double bow and adhered them to the cones. The stars are cut from the Simply Charmed cartridge at 2.76, 3.00 and 3.35 I also cut the shadow to each of the stars and embossed them with the divine swirl folder. Fun ha? So, what do your think? Hope you come join in the challenge at Decorate to Celebrate..... would love to see your creations!
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Paper Playtime Challenge #89-Anything Goes.
2.) Go Fish Challenge #29-Home Decor
3.) My Sheri Crafts Challenge #99-Tis the Season
4.) DL.ART Thankful Thursday- December Holidays

ReplyDeleteSweet holiday decore! These tiny towers of colored candies are fun, festive and deliciously cute!
ReplyDeleteYour peppermint trees are super cute, Sherrie! I made these with one of my son's classes a couple years ago. I must say that it was a project not meant for little ones. They were eating more of the candy then they were gluing to the trees. A couple of the kids were even pulling off candies that had glue on them and eating them.
ReplyDeleteYours are WAY MORE GORGEOUS! :)
Oh MY -- how CUTE are these trees?!!! Of course, mine would 'shrink' as I'm pretty sure DH wouldn't be able to pass by without eating some -- LOL!!! Thanks SO MUCH for sharing this adorable idea with us @ My Sheri Crafts!!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely scrumptious! I love things like this! You did a wonderful job with the candy additions. What a whimsical addition to anyone's Christmas decor. Great job!
