I tied a twine bow with My Craft Spot's Vintage Cherry Twine and added a fun little bell. I used the Ribbon Banners~Straight metal dies for the banner and stamped the sentiment with the  Christmas Banner Sentiments stamp set.
I finished by tying on a pretty bow using Vanilla Bean Crinkle Ribbon bow.

Merry Christmas!

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hello Everyone and Merry Christmas!!!
I hope you enjoyed your Christmas Day! We had a wonderful day with our kids and their families! I cooked a turkey along with all the fixings which everyone loved! It seems like all we did was eat and eat and eat!
It was SO fun to share Christmas with little Arya~she is 2 and at such a fun age! She enjoyed all the treats (imagine that), the opening of gifts and later was watching a little Elmo program on the Ipad and fell asleep with it in her lap, finger on the screen, totally zonked! Too funny!

I am sorry I haven't been on my blog much lately but with the holidays, I had been a bit consumed with all I needed to get done :( I don't now about you but it seemed like once Thanksgiving was here and gone, I felt like I have been on a roller coaster ever since, yikes!! Didn't it seem to come rather quick OR is just me?? I hope to be back in my craft room and in full swing after the
New Year :)
Until then, I wanted to share with you a really quick and fun Christmas ornament that I made for little Arya for her Christmas tree.
It went together really easy and would be a great project to mass produce :)
I purchased the clear ornaments at the local craft store and fired up my Cameo. I used a font that I downloaded onto my silhouette for the name and cut it in white vinyl. I then cut 1/4 and 1/2" size circles from the George cartridge using lime green and pink vinyl which are new colors for me and cut that on my cricut.
I topped it off with fun tulle, snow white crinkle ribbon and cotton candy twine from My Craft Spot and a fun polka dot button from my stash. Cute, ha? I also have the stand to display it if they want to set it on a shelf or somewhere other than on the tree.
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and wishing you a Happy New Year!!
Be back soon :)
I am entering this in the challenge at:

My Creative Time~Guest Designer

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!!
Yippee! Today is another GD day for me at My Creative Time!!
I am having so much fun and so honored to share some fun projects with you using Emma's awesome products!! If you missed my GD project yesterday for My Creative Time and want to check it out, scroll down or go HERE to view it:)

Today, I am sharing a few projects with you using some of my favorite go to dies and stamps from her line along with some of the new ones from her latest release.
I started off with this cute reindeer box that I found at the Silhouette Store and cut it with my Cameo. I cut the reindeer, inked the edges and added some Sparkling Ice Glitter to the antlers.
The cute bow I attached to the reindeer is My Creative Time's new Fun Size Scallop Stitched Bow. Isn't that just adorable?
The fun little tag is stamped with the Teeny Tags Holiday stamp set and layered on the Tiny Tags Layering Die and tied on with Christmas twine I picked up at Hobby Lobby.
I filled them with yummy Hershey Hug Kisses and they are all ready to go~My daughter will be leaving these on some of her co-workers desks at work as a little gift from her :)
Okay, now for a second project:
I cut these cute mittens at 6" from the Jolly Holiday cartridge and using my sewing machine stitched them together. I left the top open to create a treat holders. The papers are from MME Lost & Found Christmas collection. I just love these papers in this stack!
I added a pretty border piece using the new Fun Stitched Edges metal die.  I layered a fun burlap panel, tied some red SU hemp twine and a little bell that I had in my stash to dress it up.
For the tag, I used the Scallop & Stitched Circle die and then stamped the sentiment with the Mixed Holiday Sentiment stamp set, inked the edges with TH walnut stain and tied it on.
I filled it with a packet of Mocha Cappuccino mix, Hershey Milk Chocolate Santa bar and a yummy candy cane :)
I hope you like my quick, easy treat holder idea's as much as I had fun making them! Thanks so much for stopping by and again a BIG thanks to Emma at My Creative Time for having me today!!

My Creative Time~Guest Designer

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
I am super excited to share with you that I am a GD over at My Creative Time today! Yippee! I have been a long time follower of My Creative Time even before I started blogging. I have always been inspired by Emma's work and her awesome design team. I have also loved her stamps and dies at which I will be showcasing some of her amazing product today on my project :)
Thank you SO much Emma for having me today!!!

With Christmas right around the corner I was in need of some fun tags to add to a few of my gift bags.  So, I got busy and this is what I came up with!
I started with My Creative Time's Stitched Doily Die and layered a fun tag using the Tags Die at which I then layered onto the doily.
I just love the new Classy Girl & Furbaby Dies, don't you?  I cut my girl out in tan and again in red, black and white so I could paper piece a little for a fun look. I also used the Classy Girl Accessories die for some of the pieces as well. It's almost like I was playing paper dolls~like when we were kids...so much fun!
I added a Fun Size Scallop Stitched Bow to the top of the tag and some fun sequins to the center of the snowflakes to dress up the tag.
To finish the tag, I topped it off with some fun ribbon, a Jute String bow and stamped a sentiment from the Teeny Tag Holidays Stamp Set.
I have another quick project:
I  used My Creative Time's Scalloped Stitched Envelope Die and Stitched Journal Die and made a quick Christmas card to add to a gift package. The papers I used are from The Paper Studio Cheery & Jolly collection.
I decorated the front of the envelope with the Vintage Stitched Labels Die & Stitched Circle Die and the sentiment is stamped with the All Around Christmas Stamp Set.  I wrapped some Christmas colored twine that I had in my stash and tied a bow.
The cute pull out is the Stitched Journal Die. I layered a panel that was 3 x 2 3/4 and ran it through the cuddlebug with the new Fun Stitched Edges Die for the little border along the bottom. I added skittles to the bottom for a fun look.
The adorable reindeer is cut at 2 1/4 from the Winter Frolic cartridge plus the layers. I stamped the sentiment with the All Around Christmas Stamp Set.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) 2 Creative Chicks Challenge #9 Christmas/Winter
2.) Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #145 Tag it!
3.) Craftin Desert Divas Linky Party~Christmas

Merry Christmas

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
Well, we are in the middle of a winter storm right now. It has been snowing since yesterday and we are to expect about a foot of snow...whoa, time to fire up the snowmobiles, ha?

We are hoping it lets up some as we get ready to take a little trip for a fun concert :) Keep your fingers crossed and say some prayers for us! The concert is this evening!

Okay, so this isn't your traditional type Christmas card but I made this for my boss and his wife who are big Jimmy Buffet fans. We purchased tickets for a Christmas gift for them and thought I would make a card to go with it.

I am super excited to because I am going to the concert as well! My sister is also a HUGE fan and when she turned 40 we took her to his outdoor concert in Wisc and had a blast!! So, we knew when he was coming to MN we would all be going again.....Fins Up!!
Here is the card:
It is a rather simple card but I am pleased with how it turned out. I used a Lasting Impressions embossing template along with Lasting Impressions pattern paper and fussy cut around the pieces. I sanded the edges to give it a worn look and to define the pattern. I added a small layer of tan paper along the bottom and tore the edges for a fun look.
I wrapped some polka dot sheer ribbon and tied a fun double bow and included Red Jute String and a bell that was in my stash.
I stamped the fun sentiment with My Craft Spot's Joy Filled Christmas and added a few skittles from me dear friend, Carri.
I included a little pocket for the tickets inside~
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Just B Creative Crazy December Linky Party
2.) Paper Playtime Challenge #24 Anything Goes
Thanks for stopping!
