Hi Everyone and happy Wednesday! It has been extremely cold here the past few days. We have had a high of -9 below and dips to -45 in the evening hours. I seriously don't even want to go out! They say we are suppose to warm up and then another cold snap again. Yuk! It's time for a vacations..somewhere WARM!
With Valentine's Day around the corner, I thought I would work on a few more cards so I am
not rushing as it gets closer.

Here is my card for some Valentine inspiration using My Craft Spot Always & Forever stamp set. The perfect set to have for your Valentine cards:)
I made this cute heart shaped card using my gypsy and welding the shapes together. I cut them at 5.99 x 5.61 from the Create A Critter 2 cartridge. The smaller heart shape is cut at 5.75 x 5.39 and embossed with a sizzix folder-sorry don't have the name on this one but it has a beautiful flower/heart pattern on it.
I also cut the cute little koala bear from the Create A Critter cartridge at 3.32 x 4.34 and used the hide feature so I could stamp the face using the PK critter face set. The little flower is cut at 2" from the Artiste cartridge which I inked up a bit along with some of the other pieces with Tim Holtz fired brick. The sweet sentiment in the heart is My Craft Spot Always & Forever stamp set. I added some crinkle ribbon and the yummy twine is Divine Valentine Twist from My Craft Spot. The fun button and flourishes are from Recollections which I purchased at Michael's.

ReplyDeleteOh Sherrie, this is precious! The embossing starts it out so beautifully and that koala is sweet as can be atop it! The flower and bow look adorable on her and I couldn't love that sentiment any more than I already do. This is one of the sweetest Valentine's cards I've seen! :o) It makes me all warm and fuzzy. Marvelous creation, my friend! :o)

How do you manage to always do such a fabulous job Sherri?? It is spectacular, adorable and sweet!!! Just look at that adorable face with the pink cheeks, you sure made his cheeks come out, love the white! I think all of us bloggy buddies should plan a trip together, LOL It is -35 here..ouch!

ReplyDeleteWe've been in a deep freeze here too. The temperatures are much milder today but now there is a freezing rain warning for tomorrow. I prefer the bitter cold over treacherous roads though...
