Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Good Morning Everyone! I hope your all having a great day! I have a fun card to share with you using My Craft Spot Winter Wonderland stamp set. We were able to spend a little time
at my brother and sister in laws beautiful cabin a few weeks back and this card was made
with inspiration from being at his lovely place. The snow was beautiful and it had a shimmery frosty
look to it that day. We also seen several deer around his property that was so fun for everyone to see.
I used papers from the My Minds Eye-Merry collection for this card. The card base is 5 3/4 and the base layer is 5 1/2. The deer are cut at 3 3/4 and 4" from the Winter Woodland cartridge which were
embossed with the tiny bubbles folder. The tree's are cut at 3" and 3 1/4" which are also
embossed with the divine swirls folder and sanded a bit for dimension. The accent label is cut at
2" from the Artiste cartridge and the beautiful sentiment is from My Craft Spot's Winter Wonderland stamp set. I tore white paper for the snow, embossed it with the Divine Swirls folder
and added SU mica flakes. I fished it by adding some flourishes along with a
double bow using My Craft Spot's Sheer white ribbon.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!
Sherrie K

Simply beautiful! Our weather has taken a turn for the colder. It's been so warm lately and today I woke up to cold, damp and windy. Your card just makes me feel all warm and cozy inside and I can just imagine a sweet little cabin sitting back in the woods all covered with snow.....sigh...think I'll go fix myself another cup of coffee! Love you card my friend!
