Here is my card for some inspiration!
I know your probably thinking..okay, valentine's day is over. What is Sherrie doing?? Well, my son had a request for me: He asked if I could make him a card for him to give his girlfriend as they celebrate dating 4 yrs in a couple weeks.
This is what I came up with:)
My card base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I used the Artiste cartridge for all the cuts on this card. I have embossed the background in the divine swirls folder. The clouds are cut at 1/2, 3/4 and 1", inked around the edges with Tim Holtz~fire brick and then popped up with dimensionals. The bottom has a small strip of pattern paper with a flower border using a recollections punch.
The hot air balloon is cut at 4 1/4" plus the layers. I have inked that as well with fire brick and then added a fun little banner tag.
The banner tag is cut at 3/4", then inked around the edges and then I stamped the sentiment using My Craft Spot's Always & Forever stamp set. I finished it by tying My Craft Spot neutral jute, added a little bow and then topped it with a sparkly heart.
Be sure to pop over and check out what my DT sisters have created for you! Hope you come back and join in the challenge. We would love to see what you create!!
Have a great weekend!
I am entering this in the following challenge:
1.) Pumpkin Spice Challenge #7 Love
2.) Paper Playtime Challenge #4 Use a sentiment stamp
