Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
Hi Everyone! Yeah, it's Friday!! We have a Fun Friday challenge going on over at Little Scrap Pieces and the challenge this week is: Love is in the air! We are to create any card, layout or project with a love theme-Valentine, Anniversary or Wedding.
I have a fun Valentine project to share with you today. I am using My Craft Spot's Build a Valentine stamp set. As you can see, this is one of my favorite valentine stamp sets.
I have a fun Valentine project to share with you today. I am using My Craft Spot's Build a Valentine stamp set. As you can see, this is one of my favorite valentine stamp sets.
I decided to give my kids gift cards for Valentine's Day this year. With that being said I made gift card holders for them. The gift card holder are cut at 6 3/4 from the Cindy Lou cartridge. I love how these turned out:)
I used the Peachy Keen January 2013 kit for the adorable bear. I stamped and colored the bears using copics and added a heart that I cut at 2" from the Artiste cartridge and layered it on a 2 3/8 scallop that was punched using a SU punch. I then layered that all on a paper doily.
I added glossy accents to the eyes, some rosy cheeks and freckles to this cutie. The sentiment in the heart is from the My Craft Spot Build a Valentine stamp set.
The inside I kept real simple-the sentiment is from My Craft Spot Always & Forever stamp set and then enclosed a yummy DQ gift card which my kids will definitely enjoy!
I finished it off with a fun sheer double bow and a fun skittle in the center from my friend Carri at Double Click Connections. You have to go check them out if you don't have any in your craft room. They are so fun to add to your projects and Carri has tons of colors available:)
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) 3Girl JAM Challenge #11-3D Valentine w/ribbon
2.) Celebrate the Occasion Challenge #98 Valentine w/ribbon
3.) DL.ART Thankful Thursday Linky Party
Thanks for stopping,
Sherrie K
