My Craft Spot Challenge #88-Pop it Up!

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion! 

Hello Everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! We had a fun weekend~Little Arya got to spend the night Friday with Grandma & Grandpa! We had a blast:) She is getting so big, almost 16 mo already! Wow, it seems like she was just born yesterday. Time flies!

We also had some more exciting news over the weekend!!!  My son purposed to his girlfriend!! So, it looks like another wedding in our family is in the near future. We are so excited for both of them and we couldn't ask for a nicer daughter in-law!
Congratulations to Cory and Amber! 

Today, we have another fun challenge going on at My Craft Spot!  The challenge this week is: 
"Pop it Up"~ Use pop dots on your projects! 


For my card I have used My Craft Spot's Birthday Wishes stamp set. The card base is 5 x 5 and the base layer 4 3/4 x 4 3/4. I have cut this adorable little monkey from the Create A Critter 2 cartridge at 4" plus all the layers. I embossed the shirt and hat with the swiss dots folder and inked the layers with Tim Holtz~victorian velvet. 


I stamped the adorable face with the PK Teddy Bear stamp set. I then pop dotted that cutie with foam dimensionals. I fussy cut a few banner tags and then added some pink sorbet twinery twine and included a bow. 


The cute sentiments are My Craft Spot's Birthday Wishes and then finished it with some fun skittles~pink passion from my friend Carri at Double Click Connections.

    Wow! 16 months already...where does the time go? Congrats to your son and future daughter in law. Once again Sherrie such a sweet sweet card, I can hardly wait to get home and play with all my new cartridges I have picked up on vacation and join in the challenges once again. I really am not looking forward to going home to the cold but I do miss the family. Have a great week and happy creating!

    This is so so sweet! I was sitting on the fence about entering my card I made today because it is popped up, but in my photo you can't tell. :-(

    Yay! on the happy news! Maybe this wedding will be a little less stressful on your end since you will be mother of the groom! :-) Hard to believe your granddaughter is 16 months already...wow. I remember the Elmo party favors likes yesterday.
