Hi Everyone! I have a quick project to share with you. I was asked if I would come up with a party favor idea for a bridal shower for a friend of my daughters who is getting married later in the year.
She told me that her fiance had several little love notes with special quotes for her the day she got engaged which led her all over the house and to the final one which was on her pillow. It said she was to look under her pillow.....which is where her engagement ring was. So, I thought the pillow pouch would be perfect for her favor since there is a happy story behind it.
I cut the pillow pouch at 3" from the Something to Celebrate cartridge. It also had a liner cut which was cut and then embossed with a sizzix flower folder. I wrapped a beautiful sheer bow around it. I then attached a My Craft Spot Tiny tag using the Tiny Tags Metal Die set and the sweet sentiment is from the Tiny Tags 2 stamp set.
The rings are cut at 1" from the Tie the Knot cartridge and added a little stickles to the diamond for the shiny/sparkly effect.

My dear friend, I apologize for the delay! That bug came right back to get me, so I've been away from Blogger for a wee bit. :( Your pillow box is gorgeous and I adore the story behind it! So sweet and beautiful.. just like your creation. :o) The embossed layer is absolutely stunning and the rings look fantastic! The ribbon is so perfect, as it looks beautifully bridal. :o) I love the tiny tag (of course! hehe!). This is lovely and will be adored by all. :o)
