My Craft Spot's Spring Stamp Release Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!

Hello everyone!! It's finally the day you get to see the FULL release of My Craft Spot's new stamps and die sets! Woot-Woot!! I am so excited because Kimberly really did an AMAZING job on this release! This release has been so much FUN to create with and we only touched the surface! We hope you enjoy the hop!!

If you came from Heather's blog at Houses Build of Cards, your in the right place. If not, you will want to start at the beginning at My Craft Spot so you won't miss a thing. You can also see all the new stamp sets and dies there too!

I used the new Postage Stamps and Stampin' Around Spring stamp sets for this project :)
I made a cute gift box for my girlfriends Granddaughter who has an upcoming birthday. I cut the box at 7 1/2 from the Sweet Tooth Boxes cartridge. The papers are from Imaginisce-Enchanted collection.  I filled the inside with some fun booties socks. I rolled them up to make them look like fun yummy cupcakes. Cute ha?
I decorated the outside with some lace trim along with the adorable little dancer girl. I cut her at 4 1/4 from the Twinkle Toes cartridge using my gypsy so I could hide the face features. The face is stamped with the adorable PK wide eyed kids stamp set.
The balloons are cut at 1 3/4 & 2 from the Birthday Bash cartridge and I tied a cherry cupcake twine bow to them. I stamped the sentiments in the balloons using My Craft Spot's Postage Stamps stamp set.
I finished it with a hot pink crinkle ribbon bow and added a tag using the Tiny Doilies Metal die set and stamped the sentiment with the Stampin' Around Spring stamp set.
Now for the best part.......Each one of us is giving away one of the new stamps! Isn't that awesome?
I will be giving away the Cute Critter stamp set. Super cute, ha?
Just leave me a comment and you will be entered to win this fabulous stamp set. I will announce the winner on Monday, April 29th so be sure to stop back!

Hello Everyone!! It's finally here!! SNEAK PEEK WEEK for My Craft Spot's Stamp Release! This is day 1 of a week long PARTY! We will be showing you some awesome projects along with prizes everyday and then finishing the week with a FUN blog hop on Saturday. So make sure you head to My Craft Spot to enter for the daily prize and for some fabulous inspiration from the amazing and talented DT.
Today we will all be showing sneak peeks of the new Postage Stamps stamp set and the Postage Stamps Metal Dies
My project today has a bit of a vintage feel to it. Hope you like it!
I started off with my card base using the Spellbinders Grand Scallop Rectangles. The base layer doing the same with the exception of embossing it with the cuttlebug flower folder. I followed that with another scalloped rectangle and then layered some fun elements to that. I adhered a 2.25 x 3.25 card/envelope which has a pull out card that I stamped using the awesome My Craft Spot's postage stamps  stamp set. I added a postage stamp to the envelope using the postage stamp die set and postage  stamp set. So fun!
The Eiffel tower image is from the My Minds Eye Lost & Found paper pack which I cropped out this image, distressed the edges, inked it up and added a little flourish.
The hearts are cut at 3 1/4 and 2 1/2 from the Artiste cartridge which are inked around the edges with SU creamy caramel.
The flowers are cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge at 2 1/2 and 3" which are inked and sprayed with perfect pearl mist for a shimmery look. The little banners are cut from Spellbinders Nestled Lacey Pennants die which I then stamped sentiments using the postage stamps stamp set. The butterfly is from the EK success layering butterfly punch.  I then finished my card with a yummy  My Craft Spot's cranberry crinkle ribbon bow:)

Here is another quick project to share with you using this fabulous set:)
I made a fun little gift bag which I got the instructions Here. They are super easy and so fun to make. I cut the little girl from the Baby Steps cartridge at 3 1/2 plus the layers.
I embossed her hair and stamped a cute face using PK Wide Eye kids face set. I used the Postage Stamps metal dies and then stamped the sentiments, Sweet, Baby and Wishes with the Postage Stamps stamp set and then tucked it under the fun border along the bottom of the bag.
I finished the bag by tying on a bow with pink petal crinkle ribbon and cherry cupcake trendy twine along with a sparkly button I had in my stash. Hope you like my project :)

Create a card, layout or project for a Baby :)
My base card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I combined a few pattern papers from We R Memory Keepers-cotton tails collection for the two mats. I layered a fun doily using My Creative Time's stitched

The tags are My Craft Spot's tiny tags metal dies and the sentiments are stamped using My Craft Spot's tiny tags & tiny tags 2  stamp sets. I tied the tags with natural and ivory string and made a bow.
