Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
Hello Everyone!! It's finally here!! SNEAK PEEK WEEK for My Craft Spot's Stamp Release! This is day 1 of a week long PARTY! We will be showing you some awesome projects along with prizes everyday and then finishing the week with a FUN blog hop on Saturday. So make sure you head to My Craft Spot to enter for the daily prize and for some fabulous inspiration from the amazing and talented DT.
Today we will all be showing sneak peeks of the new Postage Stamps stamp set and the Postage Stamps Metal Dies.
I started off with my card base using the Spellbinders Grand Scallop Rectangles. The base layer doing the same with the exception of embossing it with the cuttlebug flower folder. I followed that with another scalloped rectangle and then layered some fun elements to that. I adhered a 2.25 x 3.25 card/envelope which has a pull out card that I stamped using the awesome My Craft Spot's postage stamps stamp set. I added a postage stamp to the envelope using the postage stamp die set and postage stamp set. So fun!
The Eiffel tower image is from the My Minds Eye Lost & Found paper pack which I cropped out this image, distressed the edges, inked it up and added a little flourish.
The hearts are cut at 3 1/4 and 2 1/2 from the Artiste cartridge which are inked around the edges with SU creamy caramel.
The flowers are cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge at 2 1/2 and 3" which are inked and sprayed with perfect pearl mist for a shimmery look. The little banners are cut from Spellbinders Nestled Lacey Pennants die which I then stamped sentiments using the postage stamps stamp set. The butterfly is from the EK success layering butterfly punch. I then finished my card with a yummy My Craft Spot's cranberry crinkle ribbon bow:)
Here is another quick project to share with you using this fabulous set:)
I made a fun little gift bag which I got the instructions Here. They are super easy and so fun to make. I cut the little girl from the Baby Steps cartridge at 3 1/2 plus the layers.
I embossed her hair and stamped a cute face using PK Wide Eye kids face set. I used the Postage Stamps metal dies and then stamped the sentiments, Sweet, Baby and Wishes with the Postage Stamps stamp set and then tucked it under the fun border along the bottom of the bag.
I finished the bag by tying on a bow with pink petal crinkle ribbon and cherry cupcake trendy twine along with a sparkly button I had in my stash. Hope you like my project :)
