Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
Hello Everyone and Welcome to day 2 of My Craft Spot's Stamp Release Sneak Peeks!!! We will be showing you some awesome projects along with prizes everyday and then finishing the week with a FUN blog hop on Saturday. So make sure you head to My Craft Spot to enter for the daily prize and for some fabulous inspiration from the amazing and talented DT.
Today, we are showing sneak peeks of the new Cute Critters stamp set. This is the perfect stamp set to go along with the fun cartridges such as Create A Critter, Create a Critter 2, Campin Critters,
etc.
etc.
I had so much fun using this set, I couldn't stop making cards, lol! Hope you like them!
I popped these adorable critters up on card bases that I cut from the Nestling Eyelet Squares dies. The base layers are cut at 3 1/2 x 3 3/4 and 4 1 /4 x 4 1/2 using papers from The Paper Studio and then using a corner rounder to round off the edges.
The critters are cut at 4 1/4 plus all the layers using both the Create A Critter and the Create A Critter 2 cartridges. I cut the banners at 2 1/2, 3 3/4 and 4 3/4 from the Artiste cartridge and stamped the adorable sentiments using My Craft Spot's new Cute Critters stamp set.
I added fun crinkle ribbon double bows to each card using My Craft Spot's hot pink & snow white ribbon and the twine is cherry cupcake. I also added some embossing to the sweet lamb using the divine swirls and spots & dots folders. Aren't these critters just adorable? This is definitely a must have stamp set to have in your craft room!

Here is another quick project using this fun stamp set:)
I've always wanted to make the dog house on this cartridge and now the time has come :) I cut it from the TBBM2 cartridge at 9 3/4. Cute ha? I embossed the house with the polka dots folder and the roof with the spots and dots folder. The grass is cut at 1.25 x 10.85 from the Create A Critter cartridge using my gypsy to weld together and inked with frayed burlap.
The adorable puppy is cut at 2 1/2 from Create A Critter and tied on a bows using red jute string and then adhered the dog to the house. I cut the tag at 4 3/4 from the Artiste cartridge and stamped the fun sentiment with the Cute Critter stamp set.
