Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! I can't believe how fast they come and go though:( It rained here on and off but we still managed to get a lot done which felt good.
Today we have a fun challenge going on at My Craft Spot and hope you join in the fun!
The challenge this week is:
Ribbon & Twine
I have made a fun shaped card using the Create A Critter cartridge. I used my gypsy to weld the shape and cut it at 4.75 plus all the layers. I cut the cute little bumble bees at 2 1/2 and 2 3/4 also using my gypsy to hide the face features so I could stamp a fun PK face.
I stamped the face with PK-180 Erkle & Merkle face set. SO cute, ha? I added a fun caribbean twine bow, freckles and glossy accents to the eyes.
To finish my card, I tied a double bow using caribbean crinkle ribbon, a caribbean twine bow and a fun button and tucking in a fun tag using My Craft Spot's NEW tickets die set and tickets stamp set.

Oh my gosh this is adorable, Sherrie!! Those bees are so stinkin' cute!! I love their little eyes!! The hive shape is fabulous!! And wow, the ribbon is gorgeous!! What a fun card my friend!! I love it!!
ReplyDeleteIt didn't rain here this weekend, but it was overcast and hot. I hate that it got hot so soon...we went from freezing to hot with no in-between :/ But I love spring/summer so I'm not complaining :) Happy Monday my friend :)

ReplyDeleteWell it's not snowing...lol!!! I'm sure mr sunshine is coming:) we had another busy weekend full of soccer and bbqs. Our family is in the end of school year stretch...can't wait for summer break. Home work is the pits :)

ReplyDeleteMy dear friend, this is the sweetest bee card I've ever seen. :o) The bees could not be any cuter with their sweet faces! The beehive looks amazing and I love the cascading bow with the heart top. :o) This is completely marvelous, my talented friend! Sherrie, I am so sorry for being behind. You know how I mentioned the special little gift for Ashley? Well, it's taking me such a long and I've much left to do... it's approaching panicky mode and i need to just keep pushing. I will catch up as soon as I possibly can. I miss my bloggie pals but am afraid of letting Ashley down, so I never take breaks. I'll be back soon! Have the sparkliest Friday ever. :)
