Little Scrap Pieces Fun Friday Challenge~Summer Lovin'

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!! 

Yippee, it's Friday! I hope you all have some fun things planned for this weekend. We will be out of town for part of the weekend getting my son to the airport and going to my great nieces baptism. 

Today, is the Fun Friday challenge going on at Little Scrap Pieces and hope you come join in.
The challenge this week is: Summer Lovin'

Sounds like fun, ha? Summer to us is fishing, camping, campfires, swimming, skiing all of those fun things at the lake. When our kids were smaller we use to go to this campground with some other families and the campground staff would bus our group to this part of the river where we could inner tube. We had a blast! We would all tie together, drag the cooler, and tube down this lazy river for hours. This card reminds me of those summer day.....

My card base is a Spellbinders 5 x 7 Basic B along with the base layer. I then stamped this adorable image using the Peachy Keen PK206~Female Floatin' Frog stamp set. I colored it with spectrum noir and copics markers. I added some fun polka dots to the swimsuit and some doodling along with glossy accents to her eyes. 

I added a small banner, tied on some green apple twine and a brad.  I then finished my card by added a fun bow using SU ribbon that was in my stash . I added some stickles from my friend, Carri for some added bling:) The skittles even have speckles in them~so fun! The sentiment is stamped with My Creative Time's~Teeny Tags Greetings stamp set.
