Birthday Wishes~Dude!

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion! 
Hi Everyone! Today is my DT day at My Craft Spot and I have to sadly say it's my last official post at My Craft Spot. I have decided to take a little time off from my Design Teams as things have just been extremely busy for me. That doesn't mean I am done blogging, just taking a little time off and going at it in a different pace until thing settle down and I find more time to craft.

 I have been such a lucky gal to be a part of such a wonderful team! They have all been so supportive, kind and wow...are these girls talented!!!! I am honored Kimberly asked me and hope I can return someday! Thanks you so much Kimberly and the whole My Craft Spot team!! I will miss you all!

For my  DT project I have to share with you today, I  used My Craft Spot's new Tiny Tags 3 and Pattern Blocks Stamp sets along with the Tiny Tags Metal Die set. 
I made these cute shaped cards with my Cameo and found the cut at the Silhouette Store. These are also cut to fit perfectly in a A2 envelope, perfect, ha? The papers are from We R Memory Keepers-Yankee Doodles. I cut each out, inked them with Tim Holtz walnut stain and embossed a few of the boot pieces with the tiny bubbles embossing folder. 
I added a star brad that was in my stash. I tied a red jute string bow and a couple tags using the Tiny Tags Metal Dies set.  I then stamped the background with the Pattern Blocks stamp set and the sentiments with the Tiny Tags 3 stamp set.

    Sherrie, love these boots! They make me wanna kick up my heels girl! They're super cute and the colors are perfect!!

    I totally understand. I did the same thing at the start of summer. Enjoy your down town and we'll all be right here when you're ready to share some of your fabulous projects!

    Oh Sherrie, these are the cutest boots ever!!! I just love the paper you picked and those fun star brads are awesome! You will be missed every week at my craft spot :( but I know just how busy things can get! Summer seems so busy this year and I can't believe we are almost to our last month of break :( it seems like I haven't gotten to anything on my list of summer musts :( I still have 30 days after our vacation so wish me luck.

    Oh my gosh, I love these!! They are so adorable, Sherrie!! The papers, the colors, the embossing, the design - everything is perfect!! I adore them!!

    I totally understand what you mean about taking some time off. I need it, too. I have a ton of commitments for August that I've been trying to tie up so that I can take some time off in September or October. I just can't seem to find the time needed to get into my craft room regularly. You will be so missed!! You have my email if you ever need to talk. Huge hugs my friend :)

    Love, love, love these. The papers are so perfect. You always make such fabulous projects. LOVE THEM.

    I know what you mean about needing some time away. Crafting should be fun and once it become overwhelming it takes the fun out if it. Take all the time you need. I will miss you and I will be here awaiting your return.

    My dear friend, firstly I want to say I'm proud of you for taking a step back when you need to. The wise choice is rarely the easiest to carry out... so please know how proud I am of you! I will miss you! Whenever you're able to post, it'll be an extra sunshiny day. :) If you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to shoot me an email!

    As for your cards... they are spectacular! (And I must say they're perfectly appropriate for your last DT day because you've kicked butt ever since you accepted Kimberly's invitation! Hehe!) The patterns and embossing and colors are all amazing, both individually and collectively. (Those pattern blocks Robin created are genius!) Beautifully crafted as always, Sherrie! I'm sending you extra hugs today!

    I would soooo wear these boots! I love the way they turned out - the papers are awesome and the embossing looks fabulous! Love all the fun details you added, especially the silver stars - too cute!

    I can completely understand your decision about stepping back and taking a break for awhile. As much as I love doing what I do, it can sometimes get overwhelming. I hope you will continue crafting and posting as much as possible because I always love to see what you have been up to. You always amaze and inspire with me with your creations ♥

    These are so super AWESOME!! OMG I so want a pair of these fun boots!!! LOVE the colors and papers and great embossing and those fun stamps and dies!!!

    I totally understand about stepping back and taking some time! I know Kimberly and the whole DT will miss you GREATLY!! I know I will miss all these awesome projects but know when the time is right and things get back on track you will be welcomed back with open arms and WOW us all again with your awesome projects!!!

    Sherri ~ Oh my word these boot are flipping ADORABLE! I love the colors you chose along with the patterned papers ~ WOW! Then you embellished them up perfectly!     I completely understand myself, I just had to step away from one of the challenges as well. I just returned to work and I found myself a little overwhelmed but I will continue to craft and the 2 other DT that I will remain.
