Little Scrap Pieces Fun Friday Challenge~Oh Baby!

Hi Everyone! I hope your having a wonderful week! It is amazing how fast these Friday's come and go, ha? Well, we have a new challenge going on over at Little Scrap Pieces today. The challenge this week is: Oh' Baby!

Did you know that Karen at Little Scrap Pieces is patiently waiting the arrival of her new Grand baby???  This is her first Grandchild!! Woot-Woot! How exciting, ha?? I remember being in her shoes almost 2yrs ago waiting for little Arya who is now creeping on 2. Yikes, where does the 

time go? 

I am super excited for Karen and wish her daughter and family all the best! So, come join in the challenge to help give Karen some extra inspiration and idea's for all the upcoming projects she will be doing for this new Grand baby! 

Here is a card that I made to welcome a new baby~

This is a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card. I embossed the background layer with the divine swirls folder, inked it with Tim Holtz victorian velvet and then popped this cut crib on it. I cut the crib at 3 1/2 from the Baby Steps cartridge plus the layers. The papers are from My Minds Eye~Lost & Found collection. I added little sentiment rings around the ball of the crib. That was stamped (special delivery) with My Craft Spot's Postage Stamps stamp set using a 3/4 circle punch to cut out and then the center with a 1/2 circle punch. 

The adorable baby is cut at 2 1/2 plus the layers. The pattern paper is from My Minds Eye~Madison collection. I stamped the face using PK451~Wide Eyed Kids set and added rosy cheeks, freckles and glossy accents to the eyes. 

The banner is My Creative Time's`Vintage Stitched Label Die. The sentiment is stamped with My Craft Spot's Sweet Sentiments #2 stamp set. I then embossed it with the swiss dots folder and pop dotted it for some dimension. I added a fun double bow and prima flower that is from Little Scrap Pieces to finish this baby card up.
