Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone! I have a quick project to share with you using the Jaded Blossoms Treat Tag Dies and Winter Candies stamp set. They have a challenge going on Jaded Blossoms also and I wanted to join in since I had some time in my craft room today! Yippee!!
I started with the Jaded Blossoms~Treat Tags Dies set and then popped this sweet penguin on it. The penguin is cut from the Create A Critter 2 cartridge at 2 1/2 plus the layers. I stamped the face with the PK755 Critter Faces Lg set. I added rosy cheeks, freckles and glossy accents to the eyes.
The sentiment is Jaded Blossoms~Winter Candies stamp set which I stamped and then punched out with a circle punch. I inked around the edges using frayed burlap. The papers are My Minds Eye~Merry Collection.
I topped it off with ice blue crinkle ribbon from 3Girl JAM and the red from my dear friend, Karen at Little Scrap Pieces and string cord I had in my stash.

ReplyDeleteLucky you got some craft time, I'm sitting at work :) wishing I could be in my craft room! Well sounds like our weather is actually the same. It's unusually hot and humid! It's so strange being so close to the ocean. We are enjoying the summer so much and the warm nights with walks and playing until late :)
I can't believe how quickly Arya is growing up - I think you're due for another grand baby :) :) :)

I love that precious penguin! :o) The PK face adds extra whimsy and I love the polka dot hat and scarf. the background paper is one of the prettiest snowflake ones I've seen! :o) I love the pretty ribbons and twine at the top and the sentiment looks perfect.
