Happy 1st day of school!

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion! 

Hi Everyone! I hope your all enjoying your weekend! I have been catching up on some much needed housework today. I also did some baking and then in my craft room to organize, clean and even time to make some cards! Yeah...."me" day!!!

I put together a quick project to share with you that I made for my little niece who is going into Kindergarten this year. I found these fun little glittery pencils and thought of her immediately.

I found this clear tube at a local craft store along with these fun pencils. I used Jaded Blossoms Treat tag die for the tag. I inked around the edges with TH walnut stain.

The apple is cut at 2" from the Create A Critter cartridge. I stamped the face with PKSC15 Mar stamp set, added a little doodling and tied on a string bow then popped it up on the tag.

I finished by tying a fun double bow with some ribbon that I had in my stash along with a striped button.

I fussy cut the banner and added the sentiment using My Creative Time's Gift Card Sentiment stamp set. Super easy and makes a quick, fun little gift :)
