Just for You!

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
Hi Everyone and happy Friday? So, do you have some fun plans for the weekend? It is fair time here and we are lookin' forward to taking Arya to it. She will LOVE the animals, rides and for sure the Derby race. I can't wait to see her face!
I have a fun project to share with you today. I had a little time while Arya was napping and thought I would take in some craft time.
I just picked up some of these clear purses from Jaded Blossoms which was on their August Stamp Release and they are so adorable. I really can see SO many possibilities with these! They go together super easy..all you have to do is decorated them...fun, ha? They are also having a fun challenge called: Back to School so I thought this was perfect! There is still a little time for you to pop over their for the details and join in:)
I cut the apple from the Create A Critter cartridge at 2 3/4 plus the layers. I stamped the darling face from the PKSC-15 Mar Stamp set, added rosy cheeks and glossy accents to the eyes and then embossed with the swiss dots folder. I fussy cut a backdrop for the inside of the purse. All the papers are from Lasting Impressions and the bakers twine is from My Craft Spot.
I added on a fun tag with My Craft Spot's lacy doily die and stamped the sentiment with Jaded Blossoms Wedding Wishes stamp set. I filled it with some yummy creamy caramel filled candies from Werther's and then tied on a fun double bow....voila, all done!
Have a great weekend!

I hope Arya has a great time at the fair!! I used to love going...but it makes me think of the end of summer :( And with the temps we've been having, it feels like fall already. It will be winter before we know it. Ugh. But I digress... Enjoy your weekend my sweet friend!!
