You are in our Thought and Prayers

Hi Everyone! If you have been a follower of my blog for a while you know that one of my blogger buddies is a huge inspiration to me. Her name is Lisa from A Mermaids Craft and she is so talented, creative and a true artist! You have to go check out her blog.... if you do not know who I am talking about~She will blow you away with her creativity!

Lisa was recently a Guest Designer over at Do More With Less and her card was absolutely gorgeous! She showcase one of her signature Spellbinders based card designs along with a fabulous tutorial. She is hosting a Spellbinders shaped card challenge that I had to go over and play along with. I also kept in mind while creating my card...... one of my favorite challenge blogs,
My Craft Spot
The challenge this week which is:
Get Well/Sympathy

The card base and base layer are Spellbinders 5 x 7 Elegant Labels Four. The next layer is a Grand Labels Four and then another Elegant Labels Four. The pattern paper is from Authentique-Delightful paper pack.
I followed with a accent doily piece cut at 4" from the Artist cartridge, then a Spellbinders Standard Circle which I embossed with the sizzix flower folder and then topped it off with My Craft Spot's scallop using the tiny doilies metal die set. 
The sentiment is stamped with My Craft Spot's With Deepest Sympathy stamp set. I distressed the edges and added some beautiful pearls around the outer edge for a pretty look.
The butterfly is cut at 1 1/2 from the Artist cartridge, then added a few pearls, some distressing and a dusting of glitter. Isn't this pretty?
I topped the card off with a pretty satin double bow and a beautiful tag using My Craft Spot's 
tiny tags metal die set and the tiny tags 2 stamp set tying it on with My Craft Spot's honeydew twine.

    GORGEOUS!!!!! Oh my Sherrie - this looks like it took so long to create so many pretty details. Wow, it really beautiful!

    I hope you are doing great! I'm so sorry I haven't been by as much but I really think of you often and that sweet baby :) I hope you are enjoying some wonderful time with her!
    We have had this heat wave and its been WONDERFUUUUUUL. Sat down at the beach for so long yesterday:) Tonight it's sushi and a beach strand walk. I'm very excited:)

    W O W, Sherrie, this is STUNNING!! I am blown away by how gorgeous this is!! The layers are so elegant and the colors are beautiful!! The pearls, bow and glittery butterfly are perfect touches!! This is truly spectacular my friend!! I am so happy and thankful you entered this amazing card in my challenge - thank you so much!! And thank you for the sweet words - you know you are a HUGE inspiration to me, too my friend!!

    Sherrie, this is absolutely lovely! The oodles of layers couldn't be more beautiful, in pattern and design. The embossing is stunning, the glitter is perfect (as always), and the pearls are so elegant. The wispy ribbon and sentiments are equally lovely. Absolutely beautiful card, my dear friend! I've been wanting to enter Lisa's challenge, but I think time may escape me. :( But it makes me happy that you entered. :o) I hope you have a sparkly happy weekend!
