All the stamps and metal die sets will be available for purchase on Sat. Nov 2nd!

Today we are showcasing the new Snowflake Border Metal Die and the Joy Filled Christmas Stamp Set.
Here is what I created:
I made a center step card and featured this darling little skater that I cut at 3 3/4 from the Jolly Holly cartridge. I stamped the sweet face with PK113 Cherub Faces set and tied little bows in her hair with peppermint stick bakers twine from My Craft Spot.
I embossed the skirt with the swiss dots folder and added some sparkly ice glitter. The brim of the hat was also embossed using the divine swirls folder. The side panels are embossed with the TH snow flurries folder for some more texture.
I layered this FUN snowflake border using the new Snowflake Border Metal Die which I added some more sparkle with sparkling ice glitter. I tucked in a small panel and stamped the sentiment with the new Joy Filled Christmas Stamp Set.
I finished by wrapping some scarlet red crinkle ribbon to the card and tying a double bow. I popped a snow flake in the center using the Snowflake Border Metal Die

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
Hello Everyone and Welcome to Day 3 of My Craft Spot's Winter Stamp Release Sneak Peeks!!!
Each day we will be giving you a sneak peeks at one of 5 new stamp sets PLUS 3 metal die sets and then finish the week with a FUN blog hop on Saturday with prizes at each stop along the way!!!

All of the new stamps and metal die sets will be available to purchase on Sat, Nov 2nd!

Today we are showing you sneak peeks of the Ornate Labels Christmas Stamp Set:)
This is an awesome stamp set that coordinates with the Ornate Labels Metal Die set from the last release.
Here is my project:
I saw these cute burlap sacks at Hobby Lobby and knew I had to do something with them!  I have not stamped on burlap before so this was a bit of an "experiment". I used StazOn ink and I think I will try a Fabric ink next time so maybe it's a bit more crisp. Anyone out there with advise or type of ink that has worked for you on burlap?
I cut a piece of 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 burlap and stamped the sentiment from the new Ornate Labels Christmas stamp set using SU Craft ink and then heat set it a bit. I inked around the edges with SU real red.
I then hot glued the burlap piece, some lace trim and beads that I had in my stash to the bag. I tied vintage cherry twine to the felt flower and attached it to the burlap bag.
I filled it with little lotion, hand sanitizer and some chocolate.  I tied a cranberry bow with crinkle ribbon, some mesh ribbon and a tag that was cut at 1" from the Art Philosophy cartridge. I stamped the sentiment with Ornate Labels Christmas Stamp Set and then embossed with the divine swirls folder. Overall, I think it turned out pretty cute.
Leave me a comment and let me know what you think:)

I picked up this yummy spiced cider candle in a mason jar from Bath & Body. I wanted to come up with a cute packaging idea for Christmas gift giving. I found some shredded paper filler, a cello bag and then began decorating it up:)
I added a fun tag to the bag using My Craft Spots Jar Basics Metal Die. I just love this die set:) The papers are from My Minds Eye-Christmas Wish. I embossed the lid to the jar with the divine swirls folder. I added lace from my stash and vintage cherry twine for the bow.
The adorable snowman is stamped with the Jar Full of Christmas stamp set, then fussy cut out and popped on the tag. I added cute little buttons and more vintage cherry twine for the scarf. The sentiment is also from this darling set.
I tied on cranberry crinkle ribbon for the bow, attached the tag to the bag and finished with a sparkly red button from my stash.

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hello Everyone!! It's finally here!! SNEAK PEEK WEEK for My Craft Spot's Winter Stamp Release! This is day 1 of a week long PARTY! We will be showing you some awesome projects along with prizes everyday and then finishing the week with a FUN blog hop on Saturday. So make sure you head to My Craft Spot to enter for the daily prize and for some fabulous inspiration from the amazing and talented DT.
Today we will all be showing sneak peeks of the new Ribbon Banners Straight and/or Arched Metal Dies and the Christmas Banner Sentiments Stamp set!
So FUN!
I made up a couple cute treat/gift bags. They are a great size for candy, a couple small lotions, jewelry, a lot of possibilities!  I started with a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of card stock. I scored it at 5" and 6" and then embossed the first panel with TH snow flurries folder. I created a box for the inside and adhered it down.
The elf bear is cut at 3 1/2 from the Teddy Bear cartridge plus the layers. I embossed the hat with the divine swirls folder, the brim of the hat and shoes with the swiss dots and the bibs with the tiny bubbles folder.
I cut the tag at  3 1/4 from the Art Philosophy cartridge and stamped the sentiment with the Christmas Banner Sentiments stamp set. I then embossed the inside layer of the tag with SU chevron folder and the outer part with the swiss dots folder. I added some fun chevron ribbon I picked up at my friend Becky's store a few weeks back.
Along the bottom is a pretty border using a MS snowflake punch. I used the Ribbon Banners Straight Metal Die for the banner and stamped the sentiment with the Christmas Banner Sentiment stamp set and added a couple little watermelon skittles from Carri.
Here is another one:
The adorable little reindeer bear is cut at 3 1/2 from the teddy Bear Parade cartridge along with the layers. Isn't he just the cutest?
I finished it up by filling it with some yummy chocolates and then clamped it closed with these little colored binder clips I had in my stash.

Eat if you DARE

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi my crafty friends and happy Sunday. I hope you have a great day whatever you have planned~ Spending time with family and/or friends, getting things done around home, shopping or crafting!
I am getting ready to leave out of town for the day to celebrate my Dads birthday! All my siblings and their families will all be there. I can't wait to see them all, especially my little great nieces and nephews! I am sure Arya will have a blast playing with some that are her age:)
Should be a wonderful day!!

Today, I have another Halloween project to share with you...hope you like it! I am lovin' all the fun Halloween idea's out in blog land lately! How about you?
I found this Witch's boot at the Silhouette store and had to make it~ It was cut on my Cameo. I just love that it is a treat box:)
It was a bit of a challenge to get it together but you just have to go slowly and be sure the glue sets before continuing on. I definitely loved the end result!
I used papers from Echo Park called Dots & Stripes for the boot and black gingham ribbon for lacing up the boot. I tied a fun double bow and added a fun button to the center. The spider on the tip of the boot is cut at .66 using my gypsy and the Mini Monster cartridge.
I hot glued the boa on~which I think adds a great touch. I filled a cell bag with yummy Hershey chocolate almond kisses and tucked it in the boot.
I tied it up with gingham ribbon and added a tag. The tag is from My Craft Spot's Jar Basics Die set, then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with the Spooky Treats stamp set.
 So, what do you think??
It would make a great party favor or table decoration to!

Happy Halloween

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hello all my crafty friends! I hope your all having a great week!
It's hard to believe we are closing in on October already.......wow, this year has gone fast!
I have another Halloween project to share with you and then ....I will be working over the weekend trying to get ready for
Winter Stamp Release Party that will begin on Monday!!! Yippee!
Trust me...you are gonna LOVE the new product!

So, for today I have made a fun paper sack Halloween Treat holder. I started with a lunch bag, folder it and adhered the sides down. I then cut Halloween pattern papers, inked the edges with TH spiced marmalade and then sewn in place using my sewing machine:)
I cut a black panel and used a MS web punch for a cute border, stamped and heat embossed the sentiment which is from My Craft Spot's Spooky Treats stamp set. I also found this cute little clothespin that I thought needed a home:) Cute, ha?
I then wrapped on some twine from my stash and added the cute tag. The tag is from the Jar Basics Metal Die set and the sentiment is from the Spooky Treat stamp set.
The jar is from the Jar Basics Metal Die set, stamped with the coordinating Jar Basics stamp set. I added some distressing ink, some zig zag stitching with my sewing machine and stamped on the little spiders with the Jar Full of Halloween stamp set.
I stamped on the sentiment with the Spooky Treats stamp set and popped it on the doily and scallop from the Tiny Doilies Metal Die set.
I also enclosed a couple pull outs-one for adding a message to which has a fun skeleton on the front of it. It was cut at 4 " from the Artiste cartridge and the skeleton at at 3".
The tag is cut at 3 3/4 also from the Artiste cartridge, the sentiment from the Best Witches to You stamp set. The chevron ribbon, twine and skittles from my stash.
Thank so much for stopping!! Hope you enjoyed my project today:)

Halloween card set w/gift bag

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!  Hope your having a great day!
I can't believe it was snowing here the last few days on and off, yikes! Is it really that time all ready??
I have a fun Halloween gift set to share with you today. The set includes 4-3 x 3 cards and matching gift box:)
I found this cute bag at the Silhouette Store and cut it with my Cameo.  I then cut a square panel for the front of the bag and stamped this sentiment using
My Craft Spot's Spooky Treats stamp set.
I added a little stitching at the bottom with my sewing machine and then attached with pop dots to the bag:) Yeah, more stitching!
The spider web is cut at 2 3/4 from the Artist cartridge and the spider at 1" from the Mini Monster cartridge. I did use my gypsy to hide the face features so I could use the googly eyes.
I made 4  3x3 gift cards to fit inside this adorable bag:
The labels are My Craft Spot's Ornate Labels Metal Die and the image is stamped with the Ornate Labels Halloween Stamp set. The sentiments are stamped with Jar Full of Halloween and Spooky Treats and tied a bow with black twine.
I finished with tying on some tulle, added a fun bow and striped button that was in my stash.
Thanks for stopping!
